Our practice is limited to Endodontics. Endodontists are dentists who specialize in maintaining teeth through endodontic therapy -- procedures, involving the soft inner tissue of the teeth, called the pulp. All dentists are trained in diagnosis and endodontic therapy, however, some teeth can be especially difficult to diagnose and treat. Endodontists have received advanced training in endodontics after dental school. As specialists, they only provide endodontic treatment which may vary from routine procedures to complex surgeries.Our office has the latest specialized technology, training, and equipment in the field of endodontics.
Dr. Megan Shemanski is an experienced dentist and specialist in the field of Endodontics. After attendingBinghamton University and graduating cum laude, she worked with patients and gained valuable clinical experience in the field of Dermatology. She then attended the School of Dental Medicine at Stony Brook University. After graduating, Dr. Shemanski completed a general practice residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY, and served as their chief resident the following year. She then returned to Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine to complete herEndodontic residency. Dr. Shemanski has since held both clinical and attending positions in private practice, clinical, and hospital settings. She is a member of the American Association of Endodontists and the American Dental Association. Dr. Shemanski was born and raised on Long Island. She lives here with her husband and twochildren on the South Shore.

I just had the pleasure of having a root canal with Dr Megan Shemanski. Her office staff is amazing and she was fantastic best endodontist I ever went to. She explained everything to make sure I was comfortable and is so so caring. I highly recommend her as I'm not the most trusting patient I rate them a 10!

First impression was very clean Reception was attentive and courteous Appointment was on time Dr. Shemanski was fantastic, she went over everything step by step prior to my procedure and after. Experienced zero pain during and after my procedure. She also followed up with me the next day to make sure everything was great. Will go back again in the future.

What an awesome experience! I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Shemanski and Nina and from the beautiful office, to the comforting conversation, I highly recommend you visit this office for any endodontic procedure or consultation! One has to feel at ease when having any sort of dental procedure and you will most certainly feel that here. Highly recommend Dr. Shemanski and her staff. Very professional, caring people who will work with you and your insurance. They were fantastic with my daughter who needed 2 root canals. Doctor even communicates with you from her personal cell to followup when the business is closed.
