Dr. Salatino obtained an associate degree in liberal arts from Sierra College and then an Associate and Bachelor of Science in biology from California State University, Sacramento, with a minor in chemistry. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine in 2010 and is currently working on her mastership with the Academy of General Dentistry by attending approximately 50 continuing education units per year. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Sacramento District Dental Society, the California Dental Association and the California Dental Society of Anesthesiology. She has a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and DOCS sedation education.
Dr. Salatino is also a professional musician who plays guitar and bass for the rock band Some Fear None. She also finds time to record music under her solo artist name, STERYK. She has recorded three albums so far that can be found on music platforms like Spotify. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, wake surfing, traveling and going on outdoor adventures.

This two-weekend radiation safety course meets the California Dental Board standards for operating radiographic equipment in the State of California (approval number x925). The course involves a didactic and clinical application of X-ray safety, both digital and film processing, as well as radiographic evaluation. The course is ideal for dental personnel such as dental assistants and prospective registered dental assistants who would like to become X-ray certified in the state of California. The course includes course material and patient experience with the following radiographs: Bitewing, Full-Mouth Series (FMX), and Orthopantomography (Panoramic). Space is limited as the course is offered on Saturdays. Please call for more details.

We love Rockstar Family Dental for all of our dental needs. My husband and I recently got our Invisalign process started with Dr. Gina Salatino and it was an easy and smooth process. A horrible experience where they overcharged me even though I clearly asked them to do only the treatments that are cover with my insurance. They went ahead and did all the treatments they wanted to and charged me a huge amount without my approval. Not recommended at all.

Dr Gina is the best at making jacked up teeth beautiful. We originally went to her to fix a horrible front teeth cap work a dentist did. My husband looked like a yellow tooth beaver. But Dr Gina fixed them. Not only did they look great but they looked real. Now we're both Rock Star patients. Seriously- She's great at basic dentistry and awesome at cosmetic work! She has a remarkable staff too. You really can't beat Rock Star dental when it comes to dentistry!

I told Rockstar Family Dental about my anxiety and bad experience I had many years ago with a dentist. They made sure that I was doing okay during my cleaning and check up. They all were so very sweet, gentle, kind and compassionate. I left there happy and satisfied. I definitely be going back for all my dental needs! Thank you Rockstar Family Dental for making me feel safe, and cared about. This was 2 years ago. Today Gina fixed my permanent retainer That came undone. I give them 10 plus thumbs up!!! Thank You for always caring about your patients! The staff is awesome as well!!!

Rockstar dental is awesome. Great employees who really care, and Dr Salatino is the best. I actually like going to the dentist now because my teeth always feel clean and I don't feel like I got poked and prodded the whole time. Also, great location.
