Here at Rockpoint Dental, we offer the best in comprehensive family dental care. Our experienced and talented dentist, Dr. Chad Stephenson, does everything from root canals and wisdom teeth extraction to teeth whitening and cosmetic smile makeovers.
Our patients love coming to our office because of the pleasant and welcoming staff, including Dr. Stephenson. We are all about the health, safety, and comfort of our patients, which is why we use digital X-rays and provide an HD television in every exam and treatment room. We aim to provide our patients with their greatest dental experience.
Dr. Chad Stephenson received his Bachelors degree in Zoology from Brigham Young University in 1999. After receiving his undergraduate degree, he continued his education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he earned his DDS in 2005. He later received an MBA through Oklahoma State University in 2013.
Currently, Dr. Stephenson regularly attends continuing education classes and is active in a dental implant study club. He has a passion for dentistry and loves being able to help patients.Dr. Stephenson has been a dentist in Redmond, Oregon since 2010 and Central Oregon since 2005. As a dentist, Dr. Stephensons goal is to provide the highest-quality dental care to his patients and to help them feel as comfortable as possible in his office.Dr. Stephenson and his wife, Traci, have six children: Faith, Kayla, Paige, Carly, Blake, and Jenna. When not at the office, he enjoys anything and everything outdoors, including hiking and mountain biking. Dr. Stephenson is also an Eagle Scout.
Cheer has been providing quality care to patients in Redmond, Oregon since 2011. After working for nearly 20 years in the dental field, Cheer graduated in 2010 from Lane Community College with honors after receiving 100% on her dental hygiene clinical boards.
Since joining our dental team, Cheer has focused on creating trusting relationships with each of our patients, as well as providing them with individualized treatment that meets their oral and periodontal needs. Cheer enjoys working with a dentist and a team that truly focuses on providing quality dental care every day to every patient.Cheer has been married to her husband Robert for over 20 years. Together they have one son and two daughters: Reilly, Bree, and Grace. Cheer enjoys living in Central Oregon and learning about life on a ranch with her three llamas, 15 head of cattle, and chickens. In her spare time, Cheer enjoys gardening, reading, writing, cooking, snow-skiing, waterskiing, and being with her family.
Mendy loved seeing us so much as a patient that she decided working for us would be even better. Mendy is a very fun-loving and caring person and loves our patients. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Jerry and her two dogs. Mendy loves to travel and tries to see Dave Matthews in concert as much as possible. She hopes to live in Central Oregon forever.
She grew up in Central Oregon where she married her high school sweetheart, David, and now has two boys, Wyatt and Waylon, and a baby girl Josie. Aside from spending time with family and friends, in her spare time Allison enjoys everything that the great outdoors has to offer including gardening, hiking, camping, swimming, and riding ATVs.
When Peyton is not working, she loves spending time with her husband Mason and son Marshall. She enjoys the outdoors and loves to inspire others. Raising her son and spending time with loved ones are the most important things in her life.
Erica has been working with us since 2017. She is an EFDA dental assisted and graduated from the COCC dental assisting program. She enjoys the outdoors and all the fun that central Oregon has to offer.

I had an amazing experience at Rockport dental. I was given an earlier appointment which really helped with my schedule. The front desk staff were so friendly and professional. My dental hygienist was so nice and really cared about my dental health. I love all the high-tech office features as well. Dr. Chad was very caring and professional. I had a First Class experience!!!!

I needed an appointment ASAP due to a toothache. Rockpoint Dental got me in the same day! Dr. Chad was informative, professional, nice, and efficient! The entire staff was personable and friendly - I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I highly recommend Rockpoint!

I shadowed here for dental hygiene school and had to come back and make an appointment for myself! Everyone here is so sweet, Trish did an amazing job cleaning my teeth and was super kind and fun to talk to, they're honest, and everything was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

I have always had great experiences with this office! Very professional and friendly. The gal at the front desk welcomes you with a friendly smile, my hygienist Trish is fantastic! So helpful, thorough, very compassionate, great at her job! The Doctor was great, very helpful! Sophie the other hygienist also numbed me once. She was super sweet and did a great job! Highly recommend this office! Extremely happy with every visit!

Trish McCoin was my dental hygenist. Trish as well as the office staff and the dentist, Dr. Stephenson, were all very professional. Procedures were explained well and the cleaning was done efficiently with minimal discomfort. I was treated very well, as if I were the only patient there. I left the office after my cleaning with a completed 'treatment case', which outlined what Dr. Stephenson and Trish felt are my future procedures and processes to ensure good dental health on into the future. They are my new dental office and I am very pleased. Thank you. JH

Hands down the best experience everytime we come in. Between coming in too make payments, like today, she was extremely nice, and made sure we were able to get my daughter in for her exam as soon as possible. Every appointment has been so smooth. The girls at the desk are so caring, and so nice and they take their time with you. The dental staff do absolutely amazing. They have great team work and they do wonderful with my two youngsters. I have never had an issue, and I hate that we are moving because I know it will be nearly impossible to find a place like this when we leave. Thank you Rockpoint dental!!!!!

I am very disappointed at this place. They have the most rude people I have come across. We have been coming here with my family for years and since covid it has been hard to get appointments. They have been canceling without even letting us know they cancel, they are always changing our appointment times. I took my 5 year old who they have been cleaning her teeth since 2 years of age. They did a bad job at her teeth and when I went back for them to fix their bad job, the hygienist was sooo rude, loud mouth, and suggested me to go someplace else if I was not happy with her job. She bragged about she her 15 years of experience. Obviously the older at her job the worst she gets. When she was done with her job, she told my daughter and I in a sarcastic hypocrite sound, "have a good day". The ladies before the ones now were great! always friendly from desk to back. I have been having really bad experiences at this place since April last year. HOPEFULLY they get their stuff together and work on customer service. I would NOT recommend this place. hopefully they get to read this and work at their nasty attitude towards costumers and work at their skills of 15 years :-)

Absolutely wonderful service! Clean and beautiful office! Gentle on teeth and gums! Great staff! They did a fantastic job for my four year old son's first visit to a dentist! Trish is amazing! Chad is a great doc!
