Dr. Jeannine El-Maasri has been practicing family and cosmetic dentistry since 2006 when she graduated from CASE School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland Ohio. Two years later she completed a post-graduate residency program at Rhode Island Hospital, and a became a faculty at the Ivy League Alpert Brown University. Due to her high credentials, she was nominated a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry four years later.
Dr. El-Maasri joined Rocklin Smiles, a family driven private practice, in 2012 after moving from the East Coast. She has earned her reputation of being one of the leading dentists in her field and was nominated top Rocklin Dentist in 2017 and 2018.
Dr. El-Maasri has an intrinsic motivation for self-education and is continuously seeking further knowledge. She is currently an active member of the highly renowned Seattle Study and Spears Study clubs. Her membership translates into providing the highest quality of general dentistry to her patients.
Dr. El-Maasri enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Dr. Salim Wehbe, along with their 7-year-old son, Jad, and 6-year-old daughter, Laya. The family is thrilled of their new addition, baby boy Teo, born in September 2018. She likes traveling, hiking swimming and playing tennis. Their dog is always excited about the next family camping trip. Her family is very involved in the church and believes in giving back to the community.
Dr. Hopper has been caring for patients and perfecting beautiful smiles since 1985. Dr. Hopper enjoys all aspects of dental care, and excels in creating incredible smiles, often while his patients are lightly sedated using sleep dentistry. A true dental pioneer, Dr. Hopper brought cosmetic dentistry to Rocklin in 1990, and brought sleep dentistry to the Placer County area in 1997.
Dr. Hopper is a distinguished mentor for the prestigious Kois Center, a world renowned teaching center, where he teaches advanced dental techniques to other dentists. Dr. Hopper was also featured on an international television show creating smile makeovers.

This was one of the easiest and least painful dental experiences I've had. I was in and out and completed within a very reasonable amount of time. The assistant, Amer was so wonderful and efficient. He and Dr. Dan Hopper worked together like dancing a ballet and they never missed a beat. I love that I got my crown done all in one visit, and with their new and updated technology, it took less time to complete the process. They both have incredible chair side manners. And the front office gal, Treasure, is truly that, a real Treasure for that office. Well done Rocklin Smiles and thank you for squeezing me in so quickly and your kindness and respectful manner.

I would recommend Rocklin Smiles. They are all so friendly and care about oral health. They are quick and efficient. I've never had to wait for an appointment. They give great direction on what you need to do to have healthy teeth.

My experience at Rocklin Smiles has been wonderful. They created a treatment plan for me that was detailed, provided me with choices and was also affordable. Dr. JEANNINE EL-MAASRI has always been on time with my appointments, is the best dentist that I have ever been to. I love the staff. They make going to the dentist a good experience. Thank you all for an amazing job! I HIGHLY recommend this place.

You can feel a real positive energy when you walk into Rocklin Smiles. You can tell Dr. El-Maasri has a huge heart and loves what she does. She is honest, friendly, and is great clinically. I felt that I was in expert hands as she did my filling. Her staff transmit the same energy and are friendly and efficient. My hygienist Josie did a thorough painless cleaning. As a person that has worked in the dental field since 2004, I would highly recommend Rocklin Smiles.

I hadn't been to the dentist in a long time due to lack of insurance. I ended up having to get 3 cavities filled, two on the bottom right and one on the top right. I get really bad anxiety at the dentist and I expressed this. The cavities were filled very fast, almost rushed because the numbing didn't work on me. Something felt off right away with my bite but they rushed me out. I couldn't eat on the right side of my mouth and went back in for a bite adjustment. They told me to wait a month and the pain should subside. Still couldn't eat, went in again after a month and they grinded my teeth down again and said to wait another month. Still in pain, still can't eat. They told me the third time I came in they would take x-rays to see if I had a crack from the cavity fill. NOPE they just grinded my teeth down again and sent me on my way. It has been about 4 months of me not being able to eat on the right side of my mouth/extremely sensitive to cold. At this point I'm too scared to go back and I have just been suffering in pain. I'm sure by this point it will be a root canal but I will now be looking for a new dentist to fix my mess of a mouth. I came to this dentist because of the awesome reviews but my experience was just not good.

The services are outstanding, but the price is exceptionally high. I was told to do crowning on one of my teeth that cost me $$$. After the crowning, I had a severe toothache. I was asked to come in, and the dentist did the bite adjustment and asked me to take painkillers. The pain didn't disappear, and I was brought in again after one week. After waiting for 30 minutes (despite having an appointment), I was told to get a root canal. It upsets me because now I need to pay more! I feel like a wrong judgment from the dentist. I should have been advised to go for a root canal right away. It could have saved me $$$, pain, and time. Last but not least, I was also provided wrong billing information. The cost for same-day crowning is different from crowning on separate days. I was told that it is the same. The front desk lady was nice, and she refunded the money.
