Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Awesome experience! Dr. Rabah and staff had my broken veneer fixed perfectly and the appointment only took about 30 minutes! Thank you! I'll be returning for my future dental care.

Great office awesome staff but if you are planning to have them send your file to another office do t cou t on it. I was assured all my photos and x-rays wod be transfered but now sitting g at my dental office in San Diego was not the case. Just a bunch of reasons and excuses about updating their systems and no photos

Today I came for their advertised $59 special which includes X-rays, dental cleaning and evaluation. For medical reasons I cannot do the X-rays so they basically declined to do the cleaning and evaluation for me. I never experienced such a horrible customer service and such discrimination... VERY VERY sketchy place. I DO NOT recommend this place.

I went here using my Delta dental HMO plan. I've had issues with this plan with other dentist, because they don't follow the guidelines of the Evidence of Coverage (EOC) RULES!! I came here seeking to get a root canal done, buy a crown, and also get a filling that I needed. I wanted to make sure that we were going off the plan book the EOC booklet, and get charged what I'm supposed to get charged as a Delta Dental care HMO customer. I don't care if a PPO is better than an HMO or an HMO is better than whatever other plan is out there. I looked at the fine print, read the fine print and I was expecting to get that exact service. I was quoted for a D2740 zirconia crown, a composite filling D2392, and a root canal D3330. According to my HMO fee plan book. A D2740 Crown is 375.00 with no added numbers next to the procedure code. I was charged $1,320. A D2392 filling with no added numbers next to the procedure code is 40.00, I was charged $118. A D3330 procedure code is 340 with no added numbers next to the procedure code. I was charged $677. None of what is on my booklet was charged that amount. I filed a grievance. This is not OK I have the fine print and I can't even use it. Had to call Delta Dental and explain to them my situation and why they are doing this to customers?? There's something behind all this and I don't know exactly what it is but it's really messed up because I pay for my insurance and expect to get what is on fine print. Supposedly they're cracking down on all the dentist doing this but I don't know I think it's all just ridiculous at this point. The lady who did my x-rays was really nice, the billing lady lied to my face, the dentist that looked at my tooth was telling me that I can't use my insurance and I have to pay full price for a filling I mean this was such a horrible experience.

Always late, always not accommodating, takes months to get appointments

Have been going here since they opened, but I won't be coming back. No sense of urgency or respect for your time. Senseless waiting once you go for an appointment while staff chit chat, or appointments are cancelled the day of. The office used to feel state of the art, but they haven't maintained it well.

I was pleasantly surprised by Rocklin Modern Dentistry. The staff was very professional and friendly. I was impressed that the dentist (Dr. Shanklin) did the gum measurements and cleaning. My only negative notes are that the dental chair looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, and the assistant who did the polish and fluoride did a very rushed, nominal job.

I've been looking for a good dentist for over a month and happened to find this place and glad I did! Scheduling an appointment was smooth, the check in process was easy, and the cleaning with the dentist was great. I'm so relieved to find a good place to go too!

I have been going to this dentist and had several root canal and crowns. I have aches in my teeth and evaluation, Dr Tran says it is not your teeth. He doesnt find any problem with my teeth. They cancelled my cleaning appointment today because of Dr having family things going now they are giving appointment for 3 months from now. I spent thousands of dollars because "not covered". I wish the dentists feel more responsibility towards the patients. Ray

Dr. Tran and his assistant were conscientious and professional. I was extremely nervous and they made sure I was comfortable before we began. The work itself is extremely high quality and always done to the highest of standards. Dr. Tran is a true artist!

Avoid this office at all costs. I was told I had "severe periodontal disease" at 28 years old, and they would need to do deep cleanings as well as laser treatments to get me back on track. I didn't go to the dentist for 3-4 years before this visit so I figured sure, why not. After all the treatments, I returned for a cleaning after the initial Covid shutdowns, and was told once again I needed said treatments. At this point I was suspicious. After visiting a new dentist and hygienist in Lincoln, I was told my teeth and gums look great. No "gum disease" and no deep pockets like they kept fear-mongering. This place just wants to rob you blind by scaring you into thinking you have problems in your mouth. What a shame it is that you can't even trust professionals to not sell you something you don't need. I spent almost all of my HSA savings on these treatments, when they weren't needed. That money could of been spent on important medical treatments down the road.

We will see if this review changes but I just recently went in for my initial appointment. Despite showing up 5-10 minutes early I ended up waiting there for 30 minutes before getting my x-rays done. Then I waited another 30 minutes for the dentist to finally come in and give me a quick overview that took less than 15 minutes. When I finally left I had been there for almost 2 hours. (For X-rays and a walkthrough of my scans) Now I am trying to deal with their receptionist to get scheduled for my next appointment and they don't even know what they recommended after the first visit. I also had to wait on the phone for 15 minutes before anyone even picked up. I'm not sure if they just don't care or if they are just poorly staffed but if you can avoid using this office, I would highly recommend finding somewhere else. We will see if they can change my mind but they've had a ridiculously poor start,

DO NOT GO HERE...This dental office is money hungry and will take advantage of you. That's what they did to my parent's and it is very sad.
