Dr. Helfand and Rockaway Dental Center are a local, community practice. We work with local patients and their families as trusted dental and facial specialists, and always strive to provide the very best outcome possible with any treatment. We send our whole family to Rockaway dental. Dr. Helfand and staff are great and very welcoming. Office is always fun to visit as they enjoy decorating for the holidays.

Warm and welcoming staff. Naloani was great with my deep cleaning and Dr Helfand is the best dentist I've ever gone to. Like everyone being fearful of the dentist, they are ones not to make you afraid. He did a root canal and extraction on one side on the same day. Told me I'd have no pain. I was doubtful of that. But after everything wore off I was eating and went out that same night. Next morning I was back to myself with no pain. I'm very impressed all around.

Can't say enough but good things about this place been a patient for a couple of years now office staff amazing professional sweet and kind as well as Dr Adam he is a doll if anyone's looking for a dentist this is the place to go

I went to Rockaway Dental Center today for the first time and was very impressed! The staff was very friendly especially my dental hygienist Nalani. She talked me through the entire appointment and did a thorough job. The office environment was clean, welcoming, and fun. I would definitely recommend this dentist to anyone looking for a great experience!

BEWARE On my first visit I was told I had multiple cavities that needed filling. I have never had a cavity in my life so I went for a second opinion elsewhere and guess what, I had ZERO cavities. This crook was gonna drill me for no reason whatsoever. Seriously compromised ethics.

If I could they'd get higher stars. I had my first cleaning there with Nelani. I must say out of all the years I've had cleanings Nelani cleaned my teeth the best I've ever had. They felt so clean and cared for I was amazed. I left my original dentist to try this place out and wish I found them sooner. My husband had an emergency with a tooth and they told him come right in took care of him quick and effective I gave them a chance and now have our daughter starting there next week. The dentist comes straight out and tells you like it is he doesn't sweep anything under the rug.

Had dental appointment on 6-22-22 Nalani the Hygienist and Dr. Adam Helfand and staff was very nice courteous helpful with the needs of my upcoming treatments I must say I have been to dentists and this was the best experience I have ever had want to thank all of the staff members and Dr for there continued service to all the needs all new and continued patient

Nalani was very profesional. She made me feel calm and comfortable. The front staff was very helpful and nice. Miriam helped me with my appointment. She speaks Spanish and It was helpful. Everything was great.

All the receptionists are very friendly and competent. Tammy has been there a long time and treats the patients like family. Corina, my dental hygienist is the best I ever had. She understands my teeth sensitivity. I go every three months. Dr. Adam is a rock star! He put a Maryland bridge in for me years ago and it was the right call. He is a straight shooter and I trust the team. I enjoy going them, as much as you can possibly enjoy going to the dentist! Lol. Keep up the good work.

I love going to Rockaway Dental Center, the staff is very friendly. They have televisions that show shows I watched growing up, it helps me relax. There is collectibles of Marvels characters, and the Dr. Helfard is the Hulk (and he really looks like him).

I have been waiting for my permanent cap going on 7 weeks now. I have called the dentist's answering service multiple times a week and have NEVER gotten a return call back. And was charged over 400.00. My temporary cap didn't last longer than 25mins after leaving the office. I have reported being in pain from the exposed tooth several times a week and once again no called back. I have spoken to the answering service everytime and they have always stated they would send the office the message. So not sure why none of my messages never got to the office.
