I love being a dentist. I am not a person who is defined by my profession, but rather a person who wishes to define my profession. My passion lies in delivering the highest standard of care available to my patients. It is exciting to me when patients express how much they appreciate us and enjoy coming to our office. Since I was a young girl, I had always wanted to be in a field that helped others be healthy. Dentistry fulfilled that desire as well as provided me with an opportunity to create beautiful smiles that can truly change ones life.
I come to work each day truly enjoying the fact that I help my patients achieve the dental health goals that are important to them. I appreciate that we are not only improving their dental health but their overall health and quality of life. It is incredibly satisfying to work with so many unique people every day. I feel as though they are a part of my family, and I strive to treat them as such.
I am continuously involved in various forms of continuing education. By keeping up with the latest techniques, materials, and technology available in dentistry, I am able to give my patients the high-quality service they deserve. It is important for me to continuously improve upon what I do.
Originally from Waukegan, IL, I currently reside in Elkhorn, WI with my husband, Travis. We have two children, Ali and Joey, as well as two labs named Crush and Rogue and our cat Yeti. I love spending time with my family, and we have a lot of fun together. It is important to me to instill in my children the importance of education, hard work, and compassion, and how this will help them achieve their goals in life.
I think it is essential to give back to the community, which supports my business and my family. On a professional level, I participate annually in the Give Kids a Smile program and I have volunteered for the Mission of Mercy. My team and I also participate in many community activities and sponsorships throughout the year. We have also started our own Give Veterans a Smile program that is held in my office every Veterans Day.
I grew up in a small town, Medford, WI. I completed my undergraduate degree at UW-Eau Claire and earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 2014 from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. I completed my dental residency at the Langley Air Force Base in Virginia and practiced general dentistry at Malmstrom Air Force Base for three years. My wife Melissa and I met during our time at college together. I still serve in dentistry with the Air National Guard. I love all aspects of general dentistry but I really enjoy specialty dental treatment.
Melissa and I reside in Fort Atkinson and enjoy living in the community we work in. In our free time we love spending time outdoors, hitting the links when we can find the time, and trying new craft beers. We are big Wisconsin sports fans and love to cheer on our hometown teams!
I was born in Minnesota but lived in Wisconsin the majority of my life. I completed my undergraduate degree at UW-Eau Claire and earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 2016 from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Just two weeks after dental school, Brandon and I got married. We moved to Montana for 2 years so he could complete his active duty time at Malmstrom Air Force Base. After that we migrated this way to be closer to my family.
I enjoy being a general dentist but I really enjoy seeing the little ones. I love the idea of them having a good experience to hopefully keep their perception of the dentist a positive one as they get older!
Brandon and I are happy to be raising our family in Fort Atkinson.We are happy to have our two sons, and one on the way, grow up near family and put roots into a community where our children will grow. With a young family we dont seem to have a lot of free time lately, but we are enjoying this season of life!
