An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I had two appointments- the first was for x-rays (the person who took the x-rays was very nice) and I briefly met the dentist. I told both of them that I was having pressure pain on a specific tooth. Several x-rays were taken and both said they saw no problem. A "deep cleaning" was recommended, so I scheduled an appointment. At that cleaning, I again told the person doing the cleaning about the sensitivity of a specific tooth. After the "deep cleaning and laser treatment" the pain/pressure on the tooth I had previously noted increased. Today I saw another dentist and when I saw the x-ray of the tooth I could clearly see that it was broken in half. It now must be extracted. Why didn't anyone at Rock Hill Modern Dentistry see the obvious break in the tooth that I repeatedly asked them to check? I think I should receive a full refund for the inadequate services I received.

Omg this place is the best from front to the back office very professional made me feel like a vip everytime I was very scared to go it took me 6 months to know front desk lives and Mrs jaz who got me to go doc v and Mrs Kelly u guys rock pls if scared go see them they make u feel at home

Although I have a medical exemption, the receptionist kicked me out of the lobby and made me sit in a back room. Then continued to lecture me about Covid.

The front desk was Very professional, kind and cordial. It took a minute to meet the New dentist, she stated that she had no idea that I was there due to the lack of workers on staff the day I came. Otherwise her service was good, precise and to the point and I will be back because I would like to get to know Dr. Vee.

From the office staff, to the hygienist, the assistants and the dentist herself- everyone is top notch, friendly and make you feel so comfortable while you are having work done. The office is also very clean

I moved so I needed a new dentist and found this facility on my insurance list. They were excellent! Emily Moore was a great dentist and was very patient with all the questions I asked. Jazz was my x-ray technician and she was just as amazing. They both kept me up to speed on what was happening and what was to be done next. It really helped with the nerves when going to a doctor's office to be informed on what's happening rather than going along for the ride. I also really enjoyed that I was able to go in for an exam AND get my cleaning on the same day! It's a pain trying to get off of work for another day

I have recommended this place to several friends and family members since my visit. The office is nice and clean. The staff are very professional, while also able to have fun with their work. I felt well taken care of during my visit. The staff and Dr. Moore wanted to know what was important to me, and took time to educate me regarding my treatment options. 10/10 Dental visit!
