I had an a bone graph and implant done with Dr. Yihan. She is so wonderful! She explained everything throughly. Her staff also explained exactly what would happen. The procedure went well. I never had any real pain, blood or issues. I was able to eat and drink normally after a few days. After only three months my crown ( tooth) was ready and only required a couple twenty minute appointments. I had an implant done in the early 1990's and this was so much better than that experience, 110% better. The staff is so awesome and caring. I definitely recommend Dr. Yihan to anyone thinking of getting an implant done.

Although I am 74 years old, Dr. Yihan is the first female periodontist or dentist I have ever had. I was very impressed with how concerned she was that I understood everything that would happen with the titanium implants she would install to hold my four upper front teeth. All the personnel at her office including Dr. Yihan are very friendly and helpful to assist or explain things for you. The dental equipment that Dr Yihan used was much better than all the previous dentists I have had. She can show you photos and X-Rays of your teeth right away to explain thoroughly, and exactly what procedure would be required and why everything was necessary and what could be expected of you. Prior to my implants there was a requirement for my gums and bone to mend some for a period of time after my teeth were pulled. They made a temporary dental fixture that would fit over my other teeth so I wouldn't need to walk around without something to replace the teeth that were removed. This obviously made it much easier to smile and also talk while waiting for my permanent teeth.

I had to have a gum grafting procedure done, and Dr.Yihan and her staff made the entire process so quick and painless for me. Her and the office were always available to hear my questions and concerns, and overall made the scary sounding procedure extremely easy for me. I would absolutely recommend her to everyone and will definitely be going again if I need any work done in the future!

I would like to share the wonderful treatment I received from Dr Yihan and her staff at Rochester Periodontics. From the start of entering the beautiful office ,to my discharge, I have nothing but praises for Dr. Yihan and staff. You are greeted with smiles and kindness from everyone. I was a little nervous but Dr.Yihan put me at ease. She sat with me first and explained everything she was going to do during procedure. This put me at ease during procedure.Dr . Yihan is very professional and caring.She was able to save my tooth,which saved me so much money!! I am ever so grateful to her. This is one of the many reasons I would highly recommend coming to Rochester Periodontics. You will be treated with the most caring,knowledgeable, friendly and professional staff. I can't say enough for Dr.Yihan and staff. I will always return here if I need to have future procedures . I can't say enough for Dr. Yihan and staff. I would give more stars if i could. I've been going to an orthodontist for my braces for 2.5 years now and i was referred to Rochester Perio. The staff was very professional and nice, then I met Dr. Yihan, who is an exceptional woman. She made me feel comfortable and explained everything to me in great detail. She reiterated any time i had questions and made sure i comprehended what was going on so i could understand the ortho and perio relationship. She was truly focused on what would be best for me. Incredibly honest and just a lovely place

After interviewing some other providers for a procedure I was nervous about I am thrilled I had the work done by Dr. Yihan. She and her team were absolutely terrific. Not one weak link in the bunch, Michelle, Christina and others were all informative and driven. Dr. Yihan was very communicative. Pain was truly minimized and the results of the gum work brought great relief and a much improved situation in my mouth. Thanks to all for the work. I look forward to a continued relationship with Dr. Yihan and her team.

Dr. Van and the entire staff are absolutely fabulous. From routine visits to surgical needs.....THE BEST ! Each individual is knowledgeable, kind, patient and compassionate. After interviewing three practices, I finally found THE BEST! I would highly recommend Rochester Periodontics!

Good: 1. My implant was well installed; however the gum was bleeding for a year, might have been my fault, because I could have better taken care of it. 2. Very good follow-up on any concerns Bad: 1. Very expensive. 2. Billing did not advise us that it is possible to have two dental insurances (from both myself and from my wife) - this would have helped tremendously to reduce the out-of-pocket expenses. Rochester Periodontics & Dental Implants also benefits from two insurance payments, because it makes the oral procedure more affordable for their patients.

I had a grafting done with Dr. Yihan, and I'm very glad that I got it done through her. Her knowledge of the procedure and work was excellent. She was also thorough throughout the process and made sure that it was done the right way. I had a poor experience with a different office when I went in for my first examination, so I'm very grateful to have ended up trying her office out through a referral. It's also worth mentioning that the staff is incredibly accommodating and welcoming. My family and I will be referring anyone that needs the same procedure done to her.

I work as a registered dental assistant at a dentist in the area. Not only do we refer our patients to this office, but my husband was recently a patient for a crown lengthening procedure. Dr. Yihan was awesome! She gives so much information to really make sure you understand what she is doing, and why. You can tell she is incredibly knowledgeable, and very passionate about what she does. The office staff was also super nice and accommodating as well. I am so happy with the experience and will continue to recommend Rochester Perio to anyone who needs it.
