Born and raised in the greater Rochester NY area, Dr. Wood founded Rochester Family Orthodontics to serve her hometown community, with better more attentive orthodontic care. She opened the practice after previously working for larger multi-specialty dental practices and smaller private orthodontic offices.
As your orthodontist, Dr. Wood believes communication and individualized treatment are what establishes lasting relationships with patients. She listens to understand your smile goals and offers the best available solutions. Her continued education and training further patients comfort in her care.
In addition to educating her patients about their oral health, Dr. Wood is also a part-time clinical instructor at Eastman Institute of Oral Health, where she educates future orthodontists on the latest practices of the industry.

We can't say enough about Dr. Wood and her team. They always put my 15 year old at ease. They are friendly, knowledgeable, informative and run on schedule. They put a good plan in place for treatment for my son. It's nice to visit with the staff who like their profession and have it show in the way they treat their patients.

Dr. Wood and her staff are all incredibly professional and kind. Based on our conversations and interactions at my appointments to date, her level of expertise is apparent. I trust her implicitly! I just had Invisalign put on as a 39 year old adult and am very excited to see the results.

Dr. Wood and her staff were absolutely wonderful with my son. They took the time to explain the recommendations for his care and made us both feel at ease! My son can often be nervous about dental procedures/orthodontics but Dr. Wood made us both feel completely comfortable. The office itself is absolutely beautiful and all proper safety protocols are taken to make you feel safe and welcomed.
