Dr. Hackley started her own practice in August, 1998. She has accomplished a great deal from the time of her humble beginnings evolving from a small 3 operatory office. Her vision was to expand her practice to a much larger location in White Flint Mall (Rockville, MD) where she has been since 2000. Her practice consists of 7 operatories and a staff of 14 including 3 certified registered hygienists, 1 associate doctor, 1 licensed aesthetician, 1 licensed massage therapist and a spa area. She further expanded her dental practice in August 2012 to include her complete Dental Spa as her newly added feature Serenity Smiles by Dr. Rochelle E. Hackley. The office carries the theme A Smile is the Same in All Languages, along with her slogan We cater to Cowards. The exclusive theme for the Dental Spa is Giving You A New Reason to Say Ahhhhh. The diversity of her patients is a true testament to her love for people and her profession.
She is certified in numerous categories in her field including Cosmetic Dentistry; Certified in the use of Facial Cosmetic Injection Products by International Academy of Facial Aesthetics which includes Botox and Derma fill injections, Invisalign (premier provider) since 2002 as well as sedation dentistry certified through DOCS Education since 2006. Dr. Hackley stays on the cutting edge of her profession by becoming skilled in the aspects of dental sleep medicine also known as sleep apnea.

She has taken several missions trips around the globe and here at home to help those in need of dental work. She continually uses her skill-sets to reinvest giving back into communities through her participation with Word Alive Missions under the leadership of Rev. Jackie McCullough (Jamaica) providing dentistry at no charge to those in need and to the Dominican Republic under Dr. Arun Garg. In some instances, Dr. Hackley and others would see hundreds of patients in a single day providing any type of dental care free-of-charge. Dr. Hackley and her staff would solely provide these same services to the adolescent orphanages Gods Chosen Fast and Joshua House with Rev. James McCann (Ukraine Russia). She also uses her gifts closer to home by providing consistent support to Ellas Kids, a shelter for homeless families through her church Faith United Ministries (FUM) under the tutelage of her Pastor, James Sturdivant. At FUM, she is also a certified facilitator of Dynamic Marriage providing the spiritual perspective and training on marriage. She has funded a named scholarship to benefit college-bound girls in Montgomery County. She is a true advocate providing donations to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Foundation, Walk for a Cure (Breast Cancer), Feed the Children and St Judes cancer research just to name a few. She has also been featured in the following publications: Prudence Magazine, Working Women Magazine, and Sidekick Dental Magazine.
Her current affiliations include American Dental Association, National Dental Association, Maryland Dental Association, American Dental Implant Association, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and the Links, Incorporated. She was also recognized as one of the 25 Most Influential Black Women in 2008. As a leader in her field, Dr. Hackley is an awesome example and mentor to young women. Her belief is that anything is possible through a strong belief in God, true dedication to your dream, and the determination to see it through. Dr. Hackley is married to Anthony L. and has two children; Brianna G. (16) and Anthony E. (6).

Truly enjoyed (if that's even possible) my visit to Rochelle Hackley's office. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable and thoughtful. I had two wisdom teeth that had to be temporarily capped before a permanent cap is ready for insertion. Dr. Rochelle and her staff made a difficult situation less tenuous. It had been several years since I sat in a dentists chair and they made it tolerable. I highly recommend Dr. Rochelle E. Hackley's office.

Dr. Hackley and her talented team go above and beyond, always, to do right by the patient. They make sure what they can control is done well; and what they can't control (issues with outside vendors, for ex.) gets handled thoughtfully and quickly. Full service, high-tech and professional, built on a foundation of caring.

I was recommended by a friend at work. I was explaining to her my extreme phobia with dentists and their tools; my pain phobia. Needless to stay I've been a patient for over 15 years. They will not recommend unnecessary dental procedures and I'm so comfortable I get cleanings every 3 months. You can't go wrong with Hackley Dental Spa.

A very nice place for dental procedures. Dr. Hackley is very efficient and helpful. She take care of me very well. Highly recommended. Located in a prime position at Rockville pike. The environment is very good. Take all the major dental insurances. A very busy place hence plan ahead. Staffs are good. Definitely recommended for dental issues.

Staff was very pleasant and treated my concerns on pain management with care and respect. Dr Hackley was great and very disarming while direct and to the point. She explained my dental issues with a level of simplicity that I was able to follow along and could relate. Great environment!

Well the phrase "we cater to cowards" failed to mention "we cater to anxiety." I am a 15yr + patient of Dr Hackley and normally don't post reviews for any services I utilize but this is an exception. Dr Hackley listened to me and was willing to provide an atmosphere comfortable for my Covid-19 triggers with empathy instead of judgment. I have been there a few times over the last couple of weeks and decided to have an implant (yes, I was feeling quite brave). I have been waiting for the pain but because she is so gentle during the procedure, after the numbness wears off, I have had NO pain. She is a jewel and I guess it doesn't hurt that she's also a Rochelle. Thanks Dwayne aka Jamin' Jerome for being a dynamic support staff for Dr Hackley and making sure all of the cowards are taken care of with your zen energy.

Dr. Hackley is the Best! Her assist Danny was patient, had a sense of humor and explained she was doing. Dr. Hackley is the first Dentist that I felt was straight with me about my mouth situation. I love this dental office. I have been a patient for a few years now and I travel all the way from Virginia to see Dr. Hackley. I would not change it for the world. She addresses all my concerns and tells me what treatment I need, which is a plus. I am so glad I got a chance to come to this dental spa. Its has been a great experience for me.

I have been a patient of Dr Hackley's for a very long time (she's just that great)...I recall since well before the ofc was located on the Pike (Bou Ave) and in the White Flint Mall. She's a caring and funny dentist (a real mother, sister and friend type) who gets to the root of any issue and offers valuable advice in a funny yet stern (the way I want it) way. It's all smiles and family fun when I'm there for my cleanings (previously for invisalign too). She and her staff/family are top notch professionals!
