I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado and my Doctorate of Dental Surgeryfrom Northwestern University Dental School. Because I believe that education is the foundation for any doctor, and a degree is just the beginning, I am very involved in continuing education. Iparticipatein a local study club and takeadditional dental courses throughout the year. To bring my patients the most advanced dental care possible means education is aprocess that never ends.

I grew up in the Midwest, but have lived in Salem, CT, since 1997. I am married to Linda, who is also a dentist with her own practice. We have three children:one in college, one in high school,and onein middle school. When Im not working and it is wintertime, you can bet Im skiing! As much as I love the challenge, it is the family time on the slopes that gives me the most pleasure. During the rest of the year I train for triathlons.

I believe in giving back to the community so Ispend extra time contributing to the growth and development of children in the area. I have been a youth-level football coach for six years and was the vice president of the East Lyme Football League. I also sponsor baseball teams in Salem and East Lyme. In addition, I support Give Kids a Smile by donating dental care to needy families. Iam a donor to Lawrence +Memorial Hospital, the East Lyme fire and police departments, and other charitable organizations.

As one of our dental hygienists, I am responsible for helping our patients achieve great dental health through regular cleanings and education about effective home care. In 1995, I received a Bachelor of Sciencein dental hygiene from the University of Rhode Island, and in 2006 I received my certification in local anesthesia from the University of New Haven. I have been practicing dental hygiene for more than18 years. It has been a pleasure to work with Dr. Robson and his team over the last seven. Our staff really focuses on each patients individual needs and is committed to make each person feel welcome and comfortable. I strive always to provide the highest quality of care while treating each patient with dignity and respect. I enjoy seeing patients of all ages; from children to older adults, every person is unique and special. It is my goal to create a positive dental experience every time our patients visit the practice.

I started my career in dentistry while in high school, taking vocational training for dental assisting and then enrolling in the University of Kentuckys dental hygiene program. Since graduating I have been active in the American Dental HygienistsAssociation, where I continue to learn from the latest research as well as from my peers.

My husband and I moved to Connecticut from the Greater Cincinnati area in 2006, which is when I became a member of Dr. Robsons team. I enjoy being part of our fantastic staff, and providing top-notch care to our patients while getting to know many of them on a personal basis.

My dental career started more than20 years ago and I have been a part of Dr. Robsons team since 2005. With my experience, I strive to helpall our patients with any questions regarding insurance and financial concerns. At your first visit with us, we do a comprehensive dental exam, which includes the head, neck, temporomandibular joint (TMJ), occlusion, dentition, and gingival tissues. We will take any necessary images, including X-rays and photos, to explain your dental health to you.
