Born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, Dr. Ryan Rupert graduated from Keystone High School in Knox, PA. After high school, Dr. Rupert attended Washington & Jefferson College where he graduated cum laude and earned a Bachelors degree in cellular and molecular biology.
Dr. Ruperts interest in dentistry first arose because of extensive dental work he underwent while in high school and college. He wanted to bring his personal understanding to the field so he could help other people in the same situation.
His excellent performance as an undergraduate student allowed him to earn a professional dental scholarship to the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Dental Medicine. Dr. Rupert earned his DMD and received the Gilbert N. Robin Continuing Education Scholarship Award which is presented to a graduating student who has demonstrated dedication in the quest for continuing professional excellence.
Despite the enormity of running his own practice, Dr. Rupert has not sacrificed continuing education. His pursuit of dental excellence has led to him to be recognized with his FAGD, a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, which requires three years of AGD membership and more than 500 hours of continuing education. Only seven percent of all dentists attain this recognition.
On a personal note, Dr. Rupert and his wife have been married since August of 2013. They have one beautiful daughter, Emery, born in 2016. They are also expecting the new addition of a son in November of 2019. In his free time Dr. Rupert enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, golfing, and being a fan of Pittsburgh Sports.

I've been going to Robinson Township Smiles for a while now and is really a great place. The professionalism and friendliness of the whole team is outstanding. I first went to Dr.Rupert for a complicated dental process. Dr. Rupert did a fantastic job. He is honest, caring, and courteous. Since then, I have been going for wellness check and dental cleaning. My dental hygienist, Alayna, is wonderful. She is friendly, caring and always does an outstanding job . The office is managed very smoothly and efficiently . Without reservations, I highly recommend this dental office .

I am treated so well by the entire staff at this office. They are thorough, knowledgeable, kind and professional. The work I've had done has been excellent. And front office is so kind and accommodating when scheduling your appointments. I find this to be the most pleasant surprise as I've had such bad experiences in this past at other offices.

It was a great experience. There prompt, friendly, and all of there equipment is up to date. I put that last part in because the last dentist I had looked like he was still using stuff from the 20's.

First class experience every time! Dr. Rupert and his staff are always professional, friendly, and understanding. They take time to give you all available treatment options, and never pressure you to choose the most expensive option. The staff was amazing, I was really nervous being at a new dentist. They walked me through everything and made sure I was comfortable. The Doctor was very nice and Was honest. I will absolutely be coming back. I think I found my forever dentist :)

Yesterday was my first time going to the dentist in a while and even though I was a little nervous, the staff was so nice and welcoming. My appointment went really well, and Alayna did a great job. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a new dentist.
