Opened in 2019, Robinson Dental Group of Sulphur is the newest location in the Robinson Dental Group family. Lead dentist Dr. Sara Phillips is experienced in all types of preventative and restorative care. Shes also a certified provider of Botox and Juvederm filler for patients wanting to enhance their smile or manage painful conditions such as TMJ.

Dr. Rusnak is a Lake Charles native and a graduate of Barbe High School. He received his bachelors degree from Louisiana State University and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Alabama Birmingham School of Dentistry with a specialization in prosthodontics and oral surgery. He is certified in IV sedation techniques and has extensive experience in endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthetic dentistry, including dental implants, crowns, bridges, and veneers. Dr. Rusnak is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Dental Implant Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Louisiana Dental Association, and the Southwest District Dental Association.
Dr. Tapia received his bachelors degree from Loyola University in Chicago and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry. He completed his General Practice Residency at St. Josephs Hospital Health Center and has extensive experience in endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthetic dentistry, including dental implants, crowns, bridges, and veneers. He is also certified to perform Invisalign orthodontic procedures. Dr. Tapia is a member of the American Dental Association and the Louisiana Dental Association.
Dr. Phillips graduated from the University of Texas with a bachelors degree in nutritional science before receiving her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School. After graduating, Dr. Phillips worked in Rhode Island and was the lead dentist for a community health clinic where there was a focus on restorative dentistry, including dentures, oral surgery, and root canals. She has experience in endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthetic dentistry, including dental implants, crowns, bridges, and veneers. She is also certified in BOTOX and JUVDERM procedures. Dr. Phillips is a member of the American Dental Society.
Dr. Whatcott received his bachelors degree from the University of Arkansas and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans. He is experienced in endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthetic dentistry, including dental implants, crowns, bridges, and veneers. He is a member of the Louisiana Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
