Opened in 2019, Robinson Dental Group of Sulphur is the newest location in the Robinson Dental Group family. Lead dentist Dr. Sara Phillips is experienced in all types of preventative and restorative care. Shes also a certified provider of Botox and Juvederm filler for patients wanting to enhance their smile or manage painful conditions such as TMJ.

Dr. Rusnak is a Lake Charles native and a graduate of Barbe High School. He received his bachelors degree from Louisiana State University and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Alabama Birmingham School of Dentistry with a specialization in prosthodontics and oral surgery. He is certified in IV sedation techniques and has extensive experience in endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthetic dentistry, including dental implants, crowns, bridges, and veneers. Dr. Rusnak is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Dental Implant Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Louisiana Dental Association, and the Southwest District Dental Association.
Dr. Tapia received his bachelors degree from Loyola University in Chicago and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry. He completed his General Practice Residency at St. Josephs Hospital Health Center and has extensive experience in endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthetic dentistry, including dental implants, crowns, bridges, and veneers. He is also certified to perform Invisalign orthodontic procedures. Dr. Tapia is a member of the American Dental Association and the Louisiana Dental Association.
Dr. Phillips graduated from the University of Texas with a bachelors degree in nutritional science before receiving her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School. After graduating, Dr. Phillips worked in Rhode Island and was the lead dentist for a community health clinic where there was a focus on restorative dentistry, including dentures, oral surgery, and root canals. She has experience in endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthetic dentistry, including dental implants, crowns, bridges, and veneers. She is also certified in BOTOX and JUVDERM procedures. Dr. Phillips is a member of the American Dental Society.
Dr. Whatcott received his bachelors degree from the University of Arkansas and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans. He is experienced in endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthetic dentistry, including dental implants, crowns, bridges, and veneers. He is a member of the Louisiana Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Very friendly atmosphere from the time you walk through the door. Very professional and clean and my hygienist is the bomb I'm very relaxed with him . The office is very clean if you want a good place for dental work I highly recommend you give them a try you won't be disappointed.

Just got some work done there and a cleaning, the doctor, assistant techs and everyone I came across were very personable. I enjoyed the entire experience and will be going back and recommending anyone I know to go there.

Upon my phone interview, I was not asked if I was on blood thinner. After taking an Uber to get there at the cost of $75. I did not see the dentist at all was only seen by the nurse that informed me I was unable to get my extraction. Then was charged $81 for a consultation fee that was not even given. I intend to report this to Aetna dental, which I have, as well as the medical board. I would not recommend Robinson dental to anyone. I intend to received my full refund back for my Uber and this so-called consultation fee that was not performed. Didn't even meet the dentist.

Just out of curiosity. Does anyone know of any dental like scholarships or fee clinical visits for future dentist. As everyone knows dental work is expensive and my sister is in dire need of help. It's affecting her confidence and self worth and that's all second to the pain she's constantly in. I want to help her and I just thought I would ask. She does everything for everyone and always leaves herself last. This is one of the only ways I could think to get accurate info. Any info is appreciated.

All the ladies at Robinson Dental on Country Club Rd are friendly & professional. Jen does my cleanings & makes it as pleasant as the dentist chair can be. Always makes sure I'm comfortable throughout. This is the only dentist off I've been to that I don't mind which dentist I see because they are all fantastic. Definitely recommend!

Perfect perfect perfect. I was in pain when I woke up this morning. I made the phone call to RDG and Jenny (I think that's the name answered the phone. That was the most pleasant phone conversation anyone could ever desire when calling the dentist. I made my appointment over the phone and thanks to Mrs Taylor I was able to be seen in less than 2 hours. AMAZING. When I arrived I only sat in the lobby a short period of time and was called to the back. Once in the back Ms. Bree made me feel comfortable as a patient. We talked as if we were family and I was at ease about my dental process. Then comes in Dr. Roe. Dude walks in with all the confidence in the world and tell me what he can do for me. I was like "you seem like you know what you're talking about". I made up my mind to do the root canal and crown. The next step in the process walk talking to Mrs Cilia. Cilia walks in with her IPad and fancy SMART PENCIL and gives me the payment options for the services I need. Once the decision was made I had the opportunity to hold the fancy pencil and sign on the screen. This is the only time Bree left the room. She was right there with me every step of the way. She's going to make a great Dental Hygienist someday. Well in comes Mrs. Megan and her needles. I asked her how long she's been doing this and she said since 2015. That was enough for me. 7 years of doing the same thing everyday multiple times I was comfortable with her sticking me with needles in the mouth. Oh and by this time that laughing gas was kicking in and I was full of stories about my vacation with my wife and daughters the previous week. Mrs. Taylor comes in and I share a few stories with her and we're all laughing and cutting up. When I say they all came in and made this comfortable for me I mean it. A short time afterwards Doc comes in and gets started with the hammer and grinders. It was crazy. I'm like that goodness Megan had 7 years experience I was completely numb. It seemed like it only took an hour but the clock said otherwise. I was up and ready to head out. All in all I had a wonderful experience today and I will be returning for all my dental needs. Thanks RDG team!!!

Had an impacted wisdom tooth removed. They explained the procedure in detail and walked me through what to expect afterwards. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
