I became acquainted with Dr Gallardi and her practice at the recommendation of my general dentist. I required a good number of teeth be extracted and made the appointment as directed. Without going into great detail I will share the following. There is a consultation fee and the consultation occurs immediately before your procedure. It was at this time she declared that I would be given no pain medication except for Motrin (ibuprofen, naproxen, something along those lines) I had approximately 12 teeth scheduled for removal, but she was only able to complete 7-8 (as she advised during the consult which was not a problem). Her bedside manner was abrasive and she was not friendly. She was not open to discussing my obvious concern for pain relief and I admittedly didn't press the issue. The recovery was difficult. I opted to complete my surgical plan with a different professional who ultimately was better suited at caring for my needs. I made the choice after also finding a member of her staff to be very difficult and rude over the phone as I tried to schedule appointments and determine the amount of cash needed at appointment time (which changed several times). I made the right decision for me.
