Dr. Ardoin was born and raised in Eunice, Louisiana. He attended Louisiana State University and achieved early acceptance into the LSU Medical Center School of Dentistry. He is the past president of the C. Edmund Kells Honor Society and a recipient of the Arceneaux Award for Research Excellence. He completed his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at LSU Medical Center School of Dentistry Hospital in New Orleans while also obtaining his Ph.D. in cellular biology in the Department of Anatomical Sciences.
Dr. Ardoin has been in private practice in the Acadiana area since 1995. He is a member of the American Dental Association and a past president of the Acadiana District Dental Association, a fellow in the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and a diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Ardoin has special interests in pathology and facial reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Kennedy was born and raised in the New Orleans area. He attended Nicholls State University and achieved early acceptance into the LSU Medical Center School of Dentistry. He completed a general practice residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in New Orleans and then completed his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX.
Dr. Kennedy has been practicing since 1997 and is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and a member of the American Dental Association. Dr. Kennedy has special interests in reconstructive jaw surgery, dental implants and surgically assisted orthodontics.
At Oral and Facial Surgery Center we specialize in several full-tooth restorations, including dental implants. Dental implants have revolutionized the way we treat tooth loss. Once we determine you are a suitable candidate for dental implants, we will develop an appropriate treatment plan. Most implant procedures are broken up into two surgeries. During the first surgery, we will make a minor incision in the gum tissue to expose the underlying bone. Next, we will place the implant deep within the jawbone.
Over the next several months, the implant and your jawbone will fuse through the process of osseointegration. Osseointegration is largely responsible for the many benefits of dental implants, mimicking the natural relationship between tooth root and socket.
Once osseointegration is complete, we will schedule the second surgery to place the abutment. After the abutment is in place, we take an impression of the area. The impression will be used by our laboratory technicians to fabricate your final restoration. Once your restoration is ready, we will permanently attach it to the implant post.

I don't even know where to start with this post! Wish I could give 100 stars to Dr. Ardoin and his amazing stuff!! Doc took out my wisdom teeth about two years ago best experience of my life. His staff was absolutely generally supportive and kind and really cared about your appointment and well-being. March 2022 I had major reconstruction jaw surgery due to TMJ!!! Dr. Ardoin performed a upper jaw reconstruction surgery. Before the surgery he answered every single question no matter how many times I reworded it or needed him to re-alliterate it. He talks to you like a person he uses people terms never uses doctor terms. He will do anything and everything to make you feel 100% comfortable in your decision of surgery. Hey Staff went above and beyond with the insurance company and filing. We had a little pushback from the insurance company because they don't consider TMJ surgery covered so Miss Danielle went above and beyond her way with the insurance company. Any little thing she always kept me in the loop I appreciate her so much she did so much hard work my insurance company wasn't the best work with lol. But at the end of the day everything was accomplished 1000% I would never go to another doctor if you were considering any kind of surgery look no further this is the place you need to be. I suffered for over 15 years and I can honestly say that I am completely without any pain or complications. Dr. Ardoin is absolutely amazing and will do anything and everything and go above and beyond for his patience no matter time or day !! Same goes for his staff!!!

I love Dr. Ardoin & his staff!! He's got a great sense of humor. I went in for oral surgery and haven't had ANY complications. They even numbed my arm before inserting the I.V. into it! I wish EVERYONE who did I.V.'s would do this! PAIN FREE. (I'm not an easy hit, either.) The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would give 10 starts if I could!
