Dr. Shamey is a graduate of Springfield College and Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine and he is credentialed with the World Clinical Laser Institute and the Academy of Laser Dentistry.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the Valley District Dental Society, and the Academy of Laser Dentistry. He has been practicing dentistry since 1986.
He has been a volunteer for Project Stretch: Dentistry Reaching Out to Children and has been active in fundraising for the organization as well as providing dental care to children around the world. He has provided free dental care to local school children through the Mass Dental Society's Mobile Access to Care Van, and is a MassHealth provider for children ages 14 years and younger.
