It says online they take MassHealth and then i called and they said they dont. They should update it.

Dr. Shamey does great work, this review reflects the run around that we were given not the service that he provides. Our daughter was born last week and our two other children were born with rather substantial tongue ties that lead to a whole host of issues so we wanted to be proactive and plan ahead in the event she was born with ties as well. We called the office prior to her birth and were told that we needed a referral from the pediatrician or lactation consultant or someone at the hospital. No problem, this was different than when we attended for our son, but things change. After our daughters birth we had the pediatrician and lactation consultant at the hospital look at our daughter and confirm that she did have a tongue and lip tie. We made an appointment with our pediatrician right away and were able to obtain a referral. We called back Dr. Shamey's office and were told that this is not what was needed after all. We needed a referral from an IBCLC and gave us the name of one they preferred. We then made an appointment with her as soon as she had an appointment available. We saw her on this past Friday, she sent over the referral to Dr. Shamey and marked it as urgent. We then called the office but they were closed on Friday. We then called first thing this morning to schedule the appointment asap. But wait, we needed another referral... this time we needed to see a body work specialist first to make sure she wasn't too tight prior to the surgery. What?? We called two previous times and this was never mentioned, each time we called we were told something else and the surgery kept getting pushed back. Now we are being told that even if we get this referral we won't be able to get the surgery until mid October???? We were never given this timeline, if this was always the case this needs to be disclosed up front. We aren't going to let her struggle for the next month while we jump through hoops. Please be aware of this if your child is born with with ties. We're so angry that the response to "so we both just suffer in the meantime?" Was met with "unfortunately...". A rather cold and heartless response to a newborn. Dr. Shamey is a wonderful doctor and we're upset that this is our experience this time around. Perhaps the staff could be far more organized in how they work with patients and disclose exactly what is needed the first time.

Dr Shamey and his entire staff are incredible. Their kindness, patience, and overall care towards their patients is remarkable. My daughter needed a procedure and I'm extremely grateful for Dr Shamey's knowledge and concern for her overall well-being before, after, and during. The entire office went above and beyond to support my partner and I as well as love and be patient with my toddler. My family definitely highly recommends him to others and for all ages.

Dr Shamey showed such care and compassion for my babies. The other staff helped me out so much when I needed to come without my partner. I have 7 month old twins who got many ties lasered by Dr Shamey. I locked my keys in my van t our last appointment and the office worker/administrator dealt with the tow company during my appointment! I cannot recommend Dr Shamey enough. We traveled 1.5 hours and this clinic is totally worth it!

Extremely happy with the level of care I received when I needed an emergency root canal, the staff was extremely kind and empathetic toward my personal needs, flexible evening hours on Wednesday's make it easy for me to make follow up appointments as needed without having to take time off work, just an overall good experience.

Dr. Shamey and his staff were beyond excellent in handling my son's frenectomy. Sharon at the front desk was fantastic in helping me navigate the necessary documents to proceed with the revision. She was prompt to answer all my questions and emails and call me whenever there was an update. A friendly receptionist goes a long way when going to a new dentist! Dr. Shamey and his assistant were professional and so helpful while handling my son's health as well. They made me and my husband comfortable with the procedure, as they explained in detail what to expect and the follow-up care. Dr. Shamey exceeded our expectations by calling and texting us over the weekend to ensure that my son's healing was optimal. He also texted me with aftercare providers which made this process so much easier. My husband and I couldn't be more happy with this office. Our 11-week old son is also pleased with his results. He's sleeping better, eating more, smiling and giggling, and less colicky! I would absolutely recommend this treatment through Dr. Shamey!
