Dr. Patricia Sing Choi received her DDS from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in which she graduated ranked amongst the top of her class. She went on to complete her orthodontic specialty training and Masters of Science in craniofacial biology at the University of Southern California (USC).
Dr. Alexander Targ is a our in-house anesthesiologist who oversees our sedation dentistry. He received his medical degree from University of California San Francisco School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years.

Dr. Robert Choi has advanced training in cosmetic and general dentistry. He is a graduate of the renowned University of Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 1986. Dr. Choi stays abreast of the latest advances in the dental field through memberships in the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists.

Pursuing Advanced Education in Modern Dentistry Our San Mateo dentist, Dr. Kinsel, has several publications in peer-reviewed journals and has presented numerous seminars related to implant dentistry, both nationally and internationally. As a provider of implant treatment and an educator in the field of restorative care through implant prosthetics, Dr. Kinsel is well-versed in helping patients rehabilitate their dental health with this effective procedure. He is also on the editorial review committee of the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants.
Professional Memberships and Community Involvement As an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Preventive and Restorative Dental Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry, Dr. Kinsel is active in helping future dental professionals learn and grow in their field of study.

Dr. Choi is an excellent dentist. He takes as much time as you need to understand your options, explains everything thoroughly, and works with you by scheduling Saturday appointments so you don't miss any work, is flexible with financial arrangements, and his staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and all around fantastic.

I've been going to Dr. Choi's practice for greater than 10 years now. His staff is very professional while Dr. Choi and his wife Dr. Sing are very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I am now getting braces by Dr. Sing and has not been as big a deal as I thought it would be. She is very patient, gentle and transparent. Glad I found them when I relocated from SoCal.

Dr Choi was my dentist for several years while I lived in San Mateo. I moved to NV approx 5 yrs ago and have yet to find a dentist I've liked as well as him. He's very knowledgeable, honest and just a kind, great human. This review is long overdue. I'm writing it now because my plan is to go see him soon for some needed dental work. I just haven't met another dentist who compares.... He's worth traveling for!!

Clean, welcoming environment with great COVID safety protocols (I got my temp checked as I walked in). The front desk staff are lovely and very helpful. My doctor Robert Choi is wonderful and I love working with him. The hygienists are also very good. 10/10

My son is getting his braces treatment with Dr Choi and she is very attentive to detail and explains the treatment process in detail. Her staff are all friendly and nice which helps keep my son calm and comfortable in the chair.
