Robert M Schwan D.M.D or Dr. Bob has been a leader in Cosmetic & Family dentistry in West Chester for over 30 years. He has been frequently voted top dentist on the mainline by numerous publications. Dr. Schwan obtained his undergraduate degree at Lafayette College on the Dean's List as a Biology Major. He then went on to follow a passion for dentistry and graduated first in his class from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He was also elected to the academic honor society known as Omicron Kappa Upsilon.

Dr. Schwan was then selected by the U.S. Navy to receive advanced training in Oral Surgery, Prosthodontics and General Anesthesia at the Naval Hospital in Philadelphia. In 1972, after three years in the Navy, Dr. Schwan returned to West Chester in order to start his dental practice and spend time with his family.

Over the years Dr. Schwan's practice has evolved into a full-service cosmetic and family dental center. His years of commitment and dedication to his patients and his staff has earned him the reputation that he deserves for providing excellent dental care in the Chester County area.

Having received her business degree from West Chester University (where she also minored in International Relations), Jen keeps the office running smoothly.

Jen has worked for Dr. Schwan since 1998, and is grateful for the close friendships she has formed with patients. Outside of work, Jen likes to cook, knit and read, and enjoys the company of her family including her zoo of cats and dogs

Debbie loves working with patients, and takes great satisfaction from making people comfortable. Debbie joined Dr Schwans office after working for an oral surgery group. Prior to her career in the dental arts, Debbie worked for the airlines, which gave her a strong foundation in customer service. In her spare time, she can be found reading and spending time with her family. She also loves to travel.

Stephanie can be found checking patients in at the front desk, or assisting Dr Schwan as he examines a patient. Recruited to the team by her co-worker, Holly, she earned her Expanded Function Dental Assistant license from Harcum College in 2013. Stephanie loves the variety of tasks her job brings, and finds no two days are the same. Her interests include knitting, reading, and cooking. She is head over heels for her dog, Nelson.

Lisa brings her experience and friendly approach to each patient she treats. Having graduated from Hygiene College at Montgomery County Community College in 1993, she enjoys the many relationships she has made with her patients over the years. Working with the fun team at Dr Schwans office is an additional perk for Lisa. She loves to spend her free time traveling in her RV with her husband and their 2 cats.

Hollys bubbly, energetic personality puts patients at ease, and she loves getting to treat a variety of people every day. In 1997 she earned her Associate of Science from Harcum College. Her two young children keep her days full, and she enjoys being involved in their school activities in her free time.
