Dr. Kelso graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 2002, and completed a General Practice Residency at UT Hospital in Knoxville in 2003. Prior to attending the University of Tennessee, he attended Birmingham-Southern College and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

Dr. Kelso is also an alumni ofThe Pankey Institute, a prestigious dental education center. He continues to actively participate in the ongoing clinical curriculum there. He also participates in Donated Dental Services (DDS) through the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped, a charitable affiliate of the American Dental Association. Through this program he is able to provide dentistry to underserved patients with disabilities. Dr. Kelso was voted as one of the Top Dentistry Docs for 2020!

Dr. Kelso is a native of Knoxville and loves living in close proximity to the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains. He enjoys spending time outdoors, fly-fishing, and hiking.
