Very good managment. I don't need to wait for so long compare to other ortho clinic. Dr Robert is really kid friendly, efficient and detail oriented that patiently explained to me what the suituation is. I am really impressed as it is only the first visit. I didn't expect my daughter can able to do the model right away. He already knows what to do and shows me the picture and explained to me in my understanding knowledge. And Dr Robert is a funny man that made my daughter not scare it at all. Super recommended!!!

Brought my little sister in for an appointment. Upon entering I apologized for not having a mask at that point I was told that the mask are available for purchase for a dollar. Seeing that I had no cash on me I let them know that I'd be willing to pay via Apple Pay once I said that a older Hispanic woman working from behind the desk snapped on me "our system isn't updated like that! Leave!" I refused to leave and after going back and forth with her the nice girl sitting at the front desk handed me a mask. At this point the woman is still heckling and throwing a barrage of questions most important ones being "how old are you? Are you old enough to take responsibility for payement? I need someone here responsible for payment." I assured her that I'll be taking that responsibility. My kid sisters last time here was nearly 3 years ago so there was some updates needed for her file I informed her that I'd like to call my mom to confirm somethings and she completely disregards me and starts bombarding my sister with questions, her tone was aggressive and she frightened my sister. She made it seem like this is not a place that children come to for care but rather a business that needs to make sure they can reach all their customers or those who owe a debt. However beyond this unbelievable woman the dentist & the rest of the staff was friendly and efficient. If you don't have a passion for caring for people you should not be working in a youth orthodontist center or any medical facility. I've visited many medical facilities in New York City and I've never been offended like this. I guess my rough appearance led her to believe that we would not pay a medical bill? Unbelievable

Very bad experience my brother took my little sister there upon arriving the receptionist asked him to wear a mask he didn't have one he was then told he had to pay a $1.00 for a mask there was a lot of back and forth later in that evening i got a phone call from DR: Shpuntoff demanding me to have my brother remove his review in order for him to continue seeing my sister as a patient not once but demanded three times that we remove the review as i stood my grounds and said "NO" we will not remove the review he rudely told me he will not continue to have my sister as a patient in his office and hung up.

Doctor Shpuntoff is the best orthodontist. My brother and I have been going to him for a few years now and we are very impressed. Highly recommend him!

Excellent service! About two years ago I transferred orthodontists, since my old one told me I was done, even though I had gaps everywhere in my mouth. Upon my consultation, Dr.Shpuntoff made models of my teeth and explained all the issues that I had. During my treatment, he took the time to fix all the spaces and other issues, meanwhile my previous orthodontist told me it was not possible to fix it. The end result along with the steps and time that he took to correct everything was worth the wait and is why I would highly recommend Dr.Shpuntoff.

Great orthodentist! He's very sweet with kids. My son had a tooth stuck sideways in his gums that couldn't come down and was pushing all the other teeth aside distorting his entire mouth. Instead of surgery,that was suggested by others, Dr.shpuntoff pushed with braces one of the teeth aside to let the stuck tooth take its place, then pushed the rest of the teeth back in place. All within 6 months of treatment. Very happy with his work, his atittude, his patience, his whole office!

Very knowledgeable and courteous doctor . Same for the assistants and office staff. Not to mention the most unique creatively designed office... just perfect for the kids.

One star is even too high for them. Very bad experience. The package I have signed up is more than six grands, however the service does not deserve one tenth of it. Maybe Dr Shpuntoff had good reputation before, but now the only purpose of this clinic seems to take as many patients as possible to make money. 1. Always very difficult to get after school hour appointment. Their only operation room has six chairs. Many times, all kids will receive treatment at the same time. The number of patients is probably over clinic capacity. 2. Very rude staff at reception and at cashier. When asked a couple of times, they first refused to give a proper description of treatment and receipt for my insurance claim . They finally reluctantly did but it is only a simple receipt without treatment detail, even without detail that Dr Shpuntoff is an orthodontist. 3. More often than not, our treatments were done by this annoyed lady assistant not by Dr Shpuntoff himself, again because of too many patients. Every time when she has done the treatment, my child suffered huge pain and had to go back a there to adjust. Time unnecessarily wasted for high schooler with tight schedule. Anyway, not to recommend to anyone. But we seem to be stuck with them....

Where should I start- I have been going to this orthodontic center for 3-4 years now. I still remember my first time there; when I was sitting in the "special room" (as I called it) consulting with Dr. Shpuntoff about the requirements for getting braces while also taking x rays, getting crazy molds and looking at some designs. I couldn't really believe what was happening, I was a 5th grader getting braces!! My first impression of the place was odd because it was in an elderly facility but my judgement quickly turned to AWESOME because I thought that the placed looked utterly amazing. And so, kid friendly! The giant fish tank, aquatic floor and walls, the many games that you can distract yourself with and the colorful ambience is really relaxing. Not to mention, the consoles!! (game cube, Sega arcade machine). The service is great and looking back at all my time there, I feel like the employees genuinely cared about their customers. They were really kind. I had countless memories with them- being sent to the bathroom in the elderly home, talking to one of the employees for hours about Colombia with my dad, getting cool toys from the bin, being shown magic tricks from the doctor, etc. It has been a fun experience since having crooked teeth to now, soon being without retainers (not that there's anything wrong with having crooked teeth). I totally recommend this place. It touches you magically!

Dr Shpuntoff is my favorite dentist! I used to have horrible pain with tmj and under his care I don't have pain anymore! Highly recommend!!

Dr. Shpuntoff and his staff provide courteous and professional care. They explain everything and provide helpful tips for orthodontic care. I especially liked how they encouraged my daughter to be more independent and take on an active role in the care of her teeth. We are both happy with the results. Her smile speaks for itself!
