Dr. Robert Schmidt called many places home while growing up. His father served in the military for 20 years and along with his twin brother and mother, he spent time in Washington DC, Texas, Washington, and Kentucky. Prior to starting high school he moved to Mint Hill, NC where his family still lives today. Robert graduated from the University of North Carolina with a bachelors degree in Chemistry. He then completed his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.) at Boston University School of Dental Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2012.
Dr. Schmidt understands the importance of continuing education after graduation. He has dedicated his professional life to learning new techniques and technologies to better serve his patients and helping his patients achieve their goals through a healthy and beautiful smile.
Lisa was born and raised in Statesville, NC. She attended LKN Dental Assisting School and worked in Hickory for 4 years before joining the Schmidt Dental Team in April 2016. Lisa has been in the dental field for over 10 years and looks forward to continuing to grow with the practice by contributing through patient education and quality care. Lisa and her husband spend their spare time watching and coaching their three children in seasonal sports.
Brooke is originally from Durham, NC. She attended dental hygiene school at Catawba Valley Community College. After working 5 years in Hickory, Brooke joined the Schmidt Dental Team in July 2015. She and her husband, Matt, and daughter, Mattie Rose, enjoy spending time following Matts race team, traveling, and playing on the beach. Brooke enjoys meeting new people and looks forward to developing lasting relationships with her patients.
Lynn was born in Augusta, GA, attended the Medical College of Georgia and graduated in 1981 with a Dental Hygiene degree. She and her husband, Steve, met at Woodlawn Baptist Church in 1977 and married in August 1981. They have two daughters, Brenae and Lauren. Lynn and Steve enjoy taking trips in their little red Miata and spending time with their three adorable granddaughters. Lynn has been with the practice since 1994 and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the practice. She feels blessed with all the relationships that have been created in her dental career.
Kristy has greeted our patients since 1990 with her beautiful smile and a warm, genuine hug! She welcomes each person and treats them like family. She was born and raised in Yadkinville, NC and continues to be an active member of her community. When not at work, she has fun with her two daughters, Kelsey and Kyndall, and her three sisters. She enjoys exercising, hiking, biking, and working in her flower garden.
