From a young age, Raleigh dentist Dr. Robert Orander remembers being captivated with science. Dentistry ultimately won out as his chosen profession, because it gives him the opportunity to work with his hands and provide healthcare treatment that offers immediate, tangible results.
Dr. Orander grew up in the Winston-Salem area of North Carolina before his family moved to Raleigh. Utilizing other childhood interests, he worked his way through college and dental school performing magic and making balloon animals.
He earned a bachelors degree in zoology from NC State University, and in 1987, Dr. Orander earned his D.D.S. degree from the University Of North Carolina School Of Dentistry in Chapel Hill. He then enrolled in the inaugural class of the Advanced Education General Dentistry Residency at the UNC School of Dentistry to receive additional post-doctoral training.
Following completion of his Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency, Dr. Orander returned to Raleigh to join a group dental practice. After a few years associating in this group setting, Dr. Orander opened his own office in 1992 and has thrived as a successful solo practitioner since then. His office was voted Cary Magazines 2010 Readers Choice Dentist.

Angie has been a member of our team since June 2003. Her duties include providing preventive dental hygiene care and periodontal treatment, as well as, oral hygiene instruction and oral cancer screenings.
She graduated from Indiana University in 1991 with Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. Angie loves getting to know our patients and she gets excited about seeing our patients dental health improve. She also enjoys seeing the positive results of restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
Angie moved to North Carolina in 1995. She is married and has twins a son and a daughter. When she isnt working, she enjoys time spent with her family, as well as traveling, hiking, kayaking, working in her yard, playing golf, reading and being a hockey mom.
Gabbie graduated from Wake Technical Community Colleges Dental Assisting Program and completed National Boards in 2009. She began her career in pediatric dentistry which taught her that extra patience paired with a gentle touch can make a world of difference in your overall experience!
Gabbie is thrilled to be the newest member of our Raleigh dental practice! Her current goals are to cross-train from clinical to clerical duties as well to better serve our team and family of patients individual needs.
Outside of the office, she can be found chatting with loved ones, cooking with her husband, and chasing tennis balls at the bark park with her retriever, Tuff! Gabbie is an active volunteer with North Carolina Down Syndrome Alliance, American Red Cross and Salvation Army Center of Hope.
Beth was born and raised in Raleigh. She attended UNC-Greensboro, Queens College and NCSU. She was brought into dentistry through family and has grown to love all aspects of it. She now resides in Clayton, NC with her 2 children and several pets. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family, cooking, sewing, watching movies and kayaking. When she can she travels to the beach or mountains with family.
