Dr. Robert Varone is a CEREC-certified practitioner providing dentistry services in the Warwick area since 1984. He can fabricate all-porcelain crowns and veneers and can insert them on the same day. He provides root canal treatments, extractions of all types, implants, bleaching, and a wide range of denture prostheses. He also minimizes the dental anxiety of his patients through nitrous oxide.
Dr. Varone grew up in Providence's Mount Pleasant section and attended LaSalle Academy. He holds a BS degree in Biology and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from Creighton, both from the University in Omaha, NE, a Jesuit institution.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Rhode Island Dental Association, and the Kent County Dental Society. He is also a fellow in the Pierre Fauchard Dental Society, a past President of the Kent County Dental Society, a former trustee for Kent County Society, a past chairman of the Kent County Peer Review Committee, and a past chairman of the Rhode Island Dental Political Action Committee. Dr. Varone was also mentioned in the Rhode Island Monthly Magazine and was voted as one of the top dentists in the Rhode Island area from 2013-2018.
Leticia and Rocio are our chair-side assistant staff members. They have completed their classes in dentist assistance and are dedicated to keeping you comfortable during the whole procedure with their pleasant smile and excellent care. They are CPR-certified and can speak Spanish too!

This has been the BEST experience with a dentist that I have ever had! From the front desk staff, right to Dr. Varone, everyone is so kind and caring! I cannot say enough good things about them!

I went to Dr. Varone for the first time after not seeing any dentist for a long time. He was extremely kind and shared a lot of information to help me understand achieving better dental health. Rocio was also very gentle and considerate as she conducted many x-rays. Like many people, I am nervous when it comes to the dentist but my experience was extremely positive and I look forward to future visits.

This practice is exceptional, his hygienists are very knowledgeable. I had two teeth extracted, Dr Varone is so compassionate often helping others who don't have the means or resources to have some procedures done. I recommend this practice to anyone who really needs help, in my situation it was a life or death matter, I've had 69 hip surgeries, I was in jeopardy of losing my new hip, he took me within 24 hours of making appointment. Im forever grateful to this practice and Dr Varone, his staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable I even got a text from him on the weekend this is unheard of. Im now gonna go to him regularly he's going to fix my entire mouth, health begins in your oral hygiene! Respectfully submitted, Tonya Cabral.

This dentist is so EXTREMELY unprofessional. My brother had a tooth removal today and he swore during the appointment. While in significant pain, Dr. Varone proceeded to say the following: "it's not my fault you took this long to get this done" and "I didn't want to spend my Saturday doing a job like this". Didn't you vow to take care of people, be sensitive and be professional? You are by far the WORST care professional and I will be reporting you to the dental association.

I haven't been to the dentist since I was a kid, and going back was kind of nerve racking consider I knew a couple of teeth had to come out. After some X-Rays and explanations of what was going to be done (with options of course), we went through the operation very carefully and as gentle as possible. Every step and every part of the procedure that was done was explained to me so I knew exactly what was going on, so I felt at home. I'm glad I chose Dr. Varone, I wouldn't choose anyone else.

Great staff, Dr. Varone is amazing. Also great for people who do not have dental insurance. Many plans and options, all around.
