Kaitlyn has also studied Education, Business, and has experience working with young children. She is always positive, energetic, and concerned about patient comfort and experiences. In her spare time, she enjoys running, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with her friends, family, and cat Rusty.
She loves interacting with everyone who comes into the office and making each person feel welcomed and comfortable. Nancy has been married for over 35 years and has two sons and a cat. She spends her time outside the office knitting, boating, watching sports, and hanging out with family and friends.
Laurel joined our practice in 2019 as our patient coordinator. You will see her smiling face greeting you as you walk through the front door. She will help take care of any scheduling needs you may have. Laurel is currently in school with the goal of becoming a dental hygienist.
When Laurel is out of the office, she is prioritizing family time with her children. She enjoys spending time snuggled up with her cats while reading a book, and taking advantage of any number of opportunities Ann Arbor provides for connecting with the community and nature.
Robin joined our team in 1991, so shes built great relationships with many of our patients. In fact, the friendships shes made here are her favorite parts of her job! Robin lives in Brighton with her husband, three children, and two dogs. When not at work she enjoys running, reading, and watching her children play soccer.
Amanda joined our team as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the Spring of 2020. She graduated from the Baker College dental hygiene program in 2019. Growing up in a family of hygienists, she has always loved the dental field. Throughout hygiene school Amanda worked as a dental assistant, gaining experience in multiple areas of the dental practice. She enjoys educating patients and growing personal relationships with them. Her primary goal is to make patients feel comfortable and to enjoy coming in for their dental cleanings.
In her free time she loves to go on walks with her golden retriever. She also likes to draw and watch her favorite TV show, Fixer Upper . Amanda and her husband Daniel enjoy watching movies and renovating their home.
Amanda K has been an active member of the dental field since 2011. She started her journey as a dental assistant where she developed a passion for dentistry, which encouraged her to continue her education. She graduated with highest distinction from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. She joined the Robert Stevenson, DDS dental team as a Dental Hygienist in the summer of 2020. She is thrilled that her journey has led her to become a part of this harmonious and warmhearted team.
Amanda is committed to delivering optimal patient-centered care. She provides each patient with customized oral hygiene therapy and education based on their individual needs, to maintain good oral/overall health. She prides herself in her ability to make patients feel at ease by focusing on pain- management, comfort, and establishing trust with each patient. She enjoys building genuine long-term relationships with her patients and fulfilling them with a great dental experience.
Outside of work, Amanda spends her cherished time with her husband and son. She enjoys being outside, reading, and crafts. Taking after her dad, she enjoys astronomy and learning how to use her telescope. Nothing makes her happier than a handful of cotton candy, a good movie, and her family beside her.
With us now for over 25 years, Sheralee is a highly valued member of our team, always looking out for new ways to improve our patients comfort. When shes not in the office she enjoys reading, riding four wheelers, gardening and spending time with her husband Mark and daughter Breanna.

I needed a front top right crown to be replaced. It was a little more than my last crown 16 years ago, but it was worth it. This was the best dental experience of my life. The staff was extremely competent and friendly, and so was Bob. I never felt a moment of discomfort, discard or inconsideration, like I was not a priority. Fast, informative and cohesive environment. I highly recommend. If I wasn't moving to Texas in 5 weeks I would never hesitate to make Bob my default dental provider. Thank you Bob & staff

Do not recommend if you have any non dental health issues, explaining the previous would require putting personal medical information online which is not prudent. However dental hygienists are wonderful, else my review would have been zero stars.

I am graduate student at UM and I had an awful expriencie with them. Basically they damaged my lingual nerve after giving me unnecessary local anesthesia. I experienced great pain for more than a week. Now, more than two weeks after the procedure I cannot feel part of my tongue, the flavour of food is altered, sometimes it hurts when I eat, and they told me that this can be permanent. I even had to see a surgeon. Of course, they did not do this on purpose, and it seems that most of their clients had a good experience. People there are actually friendly. There is no doubt about that. But you need to take into consideration that what happened to me can also happen to you. And what happened to me is a clear case of dental malpractice. What is more, they did not even tell me that this could happen. If they had done so, I would have decided to avoid the local anesthesia.

Total ripoff. They took U of M s dental plan so I sent my son there. They told a 20 yr old he had gum disease and scheduled him for a deep cleaning after refusing to clean his back teeth. They also took an unnecessary full set of x-rays because his insurance paid for it. Needless to say, he is now seeing an honest dentist.

I had a wonderful experience here. Everyone was kind, informative, and thoughtful. I felt like I got a wonderful level of care and they offer a great program for payment if you don't have dental insurance. Cannot recommend enough!

I was very nervous to bring my children to the dentist. As a single mother of 4, things like that can feel daunting and overwhelming. My children's ages range from 4 years to 12 and their dental needs are just as different and dynamic as their personalities. Each of the staff members we interacted with made us feel welcome and were so kind to the kids. My children were comforted and quickly, I could see their nerves put at ease. Everything was explained to me as well as to them in ways they could understand and I found it to be equally informative for me and disarming for children with nervous jitters. When discussing treatment plans, I felt that all of our options were laid before us and had a clear understanding of the choices available. I felt these doctors took a conservative approach, which I greatly appreciate. Integrity and care are important to me and it is evident that those are characteristics each staff person embodies. I feel fortunate to have stumbled upon this place and look forward to growing with them through our various life stages and dental needs.

The staff is very helpful and careful, taking the time to make sure you are comfortable and knowledgeable about the process. It was very easy to use GradCare and I recommend UMich grad students and staff go to Dr. Stevenson's clinic. It is also very easy to walk to the location from downtown Ann Arbor.

I had my 6 month checkup and teeth cleaning Wednesday July 14th. Amanda, my normal dental hygienist was out on baby duty!, congrats Amanda!! Alma filled in and was amazing! Took the time and care with me that I receive with Amanda. Kudos to her skills and care of me. Dr. Stevenson as usual was great. First time I have had him as I have seen Dr. Larson the last couple of times. Awesome dentist office and you feel their compassion and professionalism the moment you walk in the door!

It seems like a nice dentist office. People were friendly there. But as a graduate student, I find the prices quite high. After the insurance payment. a crown with a core treatment would cost me around a thousand dollar.
