After graduating from Loyola University Dental School in Chicago in 1970, he was stationed in Austin, where he served in the Air Force for two years. Having often visited California as a child, he relocated to this area in 1973 to establish a private practice and create a home for his family.
Although he's been in practice for over 40 years, Dr. Malone is continually studying new preventative and cosmetic techniques to offer to the patients that we serve. Identifying risk factors is a key element to this process so that you and your family can be better equipped to avoid unwanted dental concerns.
Dr. Malone's continuing education courses have included Invisalign certification, Six Month Smiles and Fastbraces (short-term orthodontics) training, sedation dentistry and studies with the prestigious Las Vegas Institute (LVI) for aesthetic dentistry and the Hornbrook Institute. Cathy has been Dr. Malone's trusted assistant for 39 years. She finds the most rewarding aspect of her job is helping people through their dental experience. She also enjoys the friendships that have been made with patients. Outside of work she likes relaxing on the river in her boat, as well as hanging out by the pool with her family and BBQing.
Lisa has worked with Dr. Malone for 19 years and has been in the field of dentistry for close to 35 years. She finds her position extremely fulfilling when it comes to seeing a patient 's smile change, gaining confidence and self-esteem. Lisa loves meeting new patients and getting to know them. As she puts it, 'working at Robert J Malone, DDS is like working with your family'.
Having worked for Dr. Malone for 14 years, Tracy loves the relationships she builds with patients while helping them to achieve optimal dental health and a beautiful smile. She looks forward to working with patients for many years to come!
During her time off, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, crafting, walking her golden retriever, hiking and enjoying the outdoors. Kimberly is active in her church, where she enjoys adult ministry alongside her husband.

Highly recommend this office. Recently moved back home to SD and was in search for a dentist. I stumbled upon a gem in this office. Everyone was great, super clean office and bathroom. The whole staff was wonderful. If you have any fear when going to a dentist office-you'll be in good hands going to this office. Highly recommend.

If you looking for a dentist I highly recommend Dr. Robert and his staff, first time visiting his facility and was impressed with customer service they make u feel at home. Most importantly they make sure you're all your questions and concerns are answered and they take the time to explain step-by-step what's the best options for you therefore you're able to make the best decision.

If anyone is looking for any dental procedures or braces Dr.Malone is the right dentist for you not only do they have caring staff but Dr.Malone is the nicest dentist I've ever met thanks to him I have straight teeth now if anyone is interested he specializes in Invisalign such great service Thank you Dr.Malone

This visit was for a routine cleaning. I arrived at my appointment time, on the dot, and was shown back immediately. Most of my cleanings have been done by Tracy. She is highly skilled and very pleasant, and I'm always happy to book my next visit with her. (I even enjoyed the 70s music playing in the background!) In the several years that I've been using Dr. Malone, I've observed that the office seems to be run in an organized and efficient manner. Tools and equipment seem to be modern and the technology seems up-to-date. I feel that everyone there is aiming to provide top-notch care and a good customer experience.

Dr. Malones office got me right in when I thought I had a potential cracked tooth. My family have been patients for nearly 15 years and would never look elsewhere. The entire staff is kind, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. They have a variety of services and if they can't accommodate your needs they offer wonderful referrals. I would highly recommend this office and their family like approach with state of the art technology. Your smile is in great hands.

This was a wonderful experience! I typically put off my dentist appointments during the year. I was referred by a friend who works here because she couldn't say enough nice things. The staff was professional and kind, explaining everything in detail. My cleaning by Kim was done very well and she was able to book my next appointment while I was still in the chair. I also appreciate that they have updated equipment to help with keeping us from spreading germs. Dr. Malone was so gentle, thorough, and took plenty of time to answer my questions. I had feared my last dentist was pushing me to have unnecessary procedures done and he was able to show me why I didn't actually need them done. This saved me additional pain and money. I'm very thankful for such a positive experience!

My dentist of over 30 years retired recently and so I went on a search for a replacement for a very good dentist. I read many reviews and Dr. Malone had not only great reviews but had a lot of patients that had been with him for many years. So I scheduled an appointment for a check up and a cleaning. The hygienist (Lisa) did an outstanding job with my cleaning. Dr Malone followed up with a very thorough exam explaining everything the way my old dentist did. I happy to say I have found my new dentist.
