Dr. Miner and his team made me feel welcomed and comfortable during the whole process. From the consultation to having all 4 wisdom teeth removed which I was so nervous for - they made sure I was taken care of like family. Just had my follow up appointment and the doc was sure to answer all of my questions. Gary and Kat were also a great help. Thank you again Dr. Miner and team for helping me overcome my fear of surgery.

I was incredibly anxious about getting my wisdom teeth removed, so much so that I waited way too long to get them removed and the roots had gotten really long and they were impacted. Dr. Miner and his staff were AMAZING and so kind and patient with me, especially the morning of surgery when I was having a full-blown panic attack. They were so reassuring and calming. It turns out, all my fears were completely unnecessary as Dr. Miner & his team did an amazing job on my four wisdom tooth extractions and I healed really well. I didn't ever need the strong pain meds, and was back to eating normal foods in under a week. I was honestly shocked at how easy the whole process was. Now a month later, I'm 100% healed. Dr. Miner is extremely responsive and knowledgeable and I felt completely confident having him as my oral surgeon. Would 100000% recommend!

All I can say is that this man (Dr. Miner) and his office staff are awesome. Everyone from top to bottom was polite, courteous, professional, and a pleasure to interact with. Dr. Miner was not in my insurance network but he worked with me to make my experience as seamless, stress-free and affordable as possible. I'm very happy I decided to have Dr Miner perform my oral surgery. This office is as incredible as they are genuine. I can't even put into words how thankful I am, they truly are experts at what they do. From beginning to end I was blown away by the level care this office provided me. I will be recommending all my friends and family to Dr Miner.

Long overdue review! Dr Miner did my wisdom teeth extraction plus an implant a few years ago, and yesterday completed the first of 2 oral surgeries on my husband for his 3 implants - this included sedation and a bone graft. We both feel so comfortable with Dr Miner, especially since these surgeries were both of our first time having sedation/anesthesia at all. This was a very pricey surgery, and we feel so happy we chose Dr Miner and his office!

There is a reason for 5 stars on this practice!!! If there were stars above 5- trust me, they would deserve it! Amazing professionalism, patient manner is above and beyond exceptional, and lastly- the Dr's ability to communicate and make a 16 YO teen feel completely comfortable with a pretty extensive plan to extract wisdom and canine teeth. Dr Miner and staff are the "BOMB" when it comes to people and caring! We need to clone this entire office from reception, billing transparency, to the Dr!! I can't say thank you enough! I'm not one to Yelp and google many reviews, but this one deserves it! After all, they took care of what matters most to me- my son- and did it super well! Thanks all!!

I had an amazing experience with Dr Miner. He got my referral late right before a 4 day weekend. He was concerned enough to see me still after all his patience that day to make sure nothing serious was going on. He answered all the questions, reassured me of what is happening in my mouth and had a plan on how to proceed. I didn't know Dr like him existed! Very vey thankful for his care!

My case was 'The Big League's' according to Dr. Miner. After having a cyst surgically removed 10 years ago from my highly impacted wisdom tooth site, numerous dentists viewed my X- Ray and would wince, because my tooth was so deep and now it was infected again. I went to 2 consultations with different oral surgery groups, even though Dr. Miner came recommended from my regular dentist. The level of care, thoroughness and skill level with Dr. Miner was obvious from the start, hands down. He had the experience with challenging extractions and made this known by saying, 'We are going to take very good care of you' and next described that he has seen this on a regular basis, not every day, but enough to feel confident and thus set me at ease. I had bone degeneration in my jawbone by now and so needed the molar in front pulled for access as well as the wisdom tooth extracted from deep in my jaw plus a bone graft. For comparison Dr. Miner had a spot for me the following week, had a cost estimate immediately drawn up, discussed a pathology test to check the tissue at the site and I was told the anesthesia is done by the in house team. The first consult with another surgery group had an outside anesthesia contracted so the date would have been 6 weeks out - with an abscessed gum! - they charged close to $2000 more out of pocket AND the young surgeon said, "thank you for bringing me a challenge." Not what you want to hear with a scary procedure approaching. I am so glad I saw Dr. Miner. During my post op visit I was told with a smile and an exuberant nod that I was a resounding success! He got the whole tooth - root and all. Thank you Dr. Miner and team!!!

Dr. Miner and his staff is great! He is very professional and kind, and he makes sure to answer all of your questions. I had 2 wisdom teeth removed, and the process went very smoothly. Highly recommend.

Dr. Miner and his staff were amazing! I originally got my first wisdom tooth taken out (I only had two) by my regular dentist but my other was right on my nerve. I had a 50% chance of permanent nerve damage but Dr. Miner took it way down to a 5% chance and after surgery I luckily had no nerve damage! Dr Miner was very helpful and answered all my nervous questions and helped me along the way through healing. His staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well! I would recommended him 100%

I have major dental anxiety due to repeated negative experiences as a kid. But my experiences at Dove Canyon with Dr. Miner have been great. He is kind and compassionate in his treatment of your dental issue as well as you as a person. And the office staff are kind and lovely to interact with as well. Absolutely recommend them for oral surgery needs.

There is a reason this office has nothing but 5 star reviews on Google, Facebook & Yelp....They are AWESOME! After suffering with pain for over a month, and arguing with insurance companies to approve coverage, I had had enough and decided to go see a specialist at my own expense. I called at 8am on a Monday morning and due to the emergency situation, they were able to squeeze me in at 9:30. Dr. Miner came in and spent 25 minutes with me to listen to my story, then did an exam and identified the issues causing my pain, and then lucky for me he was able to do surgery on the affected areas that day. His staff was exceptional in making me feel comfortable and the fees he charged were more than reasonable. While I'm only 2 days past surgery I feel confident my mouth will heal and I can resume my daily activities. Thanks again to Dove Canyon Oral Surgery Center and Dr. Miner!

Doctor Robert H.Miner is the top notch oral and maxillofacial surgeon, it's even hard to say how good he is, besides to be a very professional, knowledgeable and an extremely skilled. I can state that his work is state of art since I never experienced any discomfort or pain during his procedures. I had a few other oral surgeons in the past but they don't come any close with Dr. Minor skills. I highly recommend him and his office staff to the people that are looking for the oral procedures since it make a huge difference of how it's done and the end result.

Dr. Miner is the best! He definitely goes above and beyond. I had 4 wisdom teeth extracted. Two of them were touching my nerve. I was terrified about nerve damage, but Dr. Miner put me at ease when he mentioned that he was familiar with this. He called the same day as my wisdom teeth extraction to see how I was doing. Unfortunately I missed his call, but he is so kind that he left a voicemail to let me know everything went great. I have no nerve damage and no numbness, he's the best!

Dr. Miner and the nurses are amazing!! I had to get all four of my wisdom teeth removed and was very nervous but Dr. Miner reassured me that everything would be fine and even pulled out some funny dad jokes to make me feel better. Everyone in the office was very understanding and very nice. They even were able to work with us so that I can get my teeth removed before any nerve damage happened and before my insurance changed!

Dr. Miner is a dream come true in this field. From going to a bad practice we made sure to find the perfect doctor to work on my mouth. Dr. Miner made all my worries go away when I knew I was in safe hands. This man knows his craft, and makes you feel at ease during the whole process. He is very honest, kind, and amazing at what he does. That office is ran right, with great staff. It definitely starts from the top! Thanks Dr. Miner WE ABSOLOUTELY LOVE YOU!!!! Highly recommended !!!

I'm very scared of dentists thanks to childhood experience. So I neglected 4 molars that had root canals and caps in the past and needed to be pulled. Right from his ability to put a worried patient at ease from the initial consult, his friendly and organized staff, the online patient records, Covid questionnaires, texted appointment reminders, to the in house anesthesia and followup, everything proceeded like a dream - literally. You see, I fell asleep before he had a chance to tell me a joke and woke up with minimal discomfort at home. Dr Miner is the best dental surgeon I have ever encountered He is a real gentleman and reminds me of Mr Rogers with a rare combination of being meticulous, professional and yet extremely kind.
