Joan and dr. G are always having a great time when they work on your teeth. It sets the tone for a great experience with no pain that I've experienced and my teeth have never felt and looked better. Love the team a lot and I suggest you book your next dentist appointment with dr. G and the team.

Dr Gittleman has been the family dentist for a very long time now, in excess of 20 years. We couldn't be happier which is why we still seek his services. The staff is friendly and courteous. Joan has been our hygienist for as long as I can remember. She has made our visits enjoyable and does a fantastic job.

Friendly front desk, but here's my story.I had to change dentists due to insurance change, and new dentist was confused about a filling on x-ray "that looked peculiar". I told her it had been filled just 3 months prior by Dr Gittleman. Ended up infected, needed root canal and crown. Stranger still, a friend had EXACT same experience, a recent filling by Dr Gittleman looked "sloppy". Ended up with crown. They had left Dr Gittleman due to billing issues and being sent to debt collector. Cigna called the office and said they were in the wrong and they'd file a grievance if they didn't stop harassing my friend about late payments. Nice, friendly office staff but pay attention to billing.

Friendly, but you have to pay attention to billing. I was billed for hundreds of dollars that my insurance had already paid and thankfully I caught it before paying. I tried to resolve the issue but was left in limbo being told that the office was busy, someone had accidentally deleted my email, and they'd get back to me later. Then I began to receive mail from a debt collector so I reached out again trying to resolve the matter with a conference call with MetLife and the office. In addition to this billing issue, I had poor work done on a tooth. A filling was done that left a gap between the filling and the tooth. My new dentist was surprised at how poorly this filling was done, and had to repair with a crown. The exact same thing happened to someone else I know who used to go to Dr. Gittelman which then led them to lots of tooth pain and to have to get a root canal.

Dr Gittleman himself provides great services and is who I think is a great guy...but when it comes to billing by office staff it's a different story...always trying to find a way to pad your bill for something as simple as a cleaning like I don't know the difference between a regular cleaning and what someone coined a step above...I won't be going back after today because it happens too often. ....I've had to deal with this for years and I've just had enough....In response to your response...... When I called to make the appointment your office told me that I could only get a regular cleaning and that's what I got ,but when I was billed it was for periodontal maintenance.Providing one service and billing for a more expensive service is insurance fraud I just read your response and it's clearly in violation of HIPAA putting my personal health problems out there to the public is totally irresponsible and the proper action will be taken...
