Orthodontics is the best profession in the world. It takes hard work, and a lot of time, to become an orthodontist; I promise its worth it! I spend time every day with great people my staff, patients, and their families and try to make a difference in each persons life.

I care for people of all ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds. Each patient comes to me with the dream of a healthy and beautiful smile. Each person has his or her own clinical challenges and personality, and I get to build lasting relationships with people while figuring out the best way to improve their smiles.

Ive been practicing dentistry since 1989 and orthodontics since 1993. For me, the oral healthcare field is the perfect mix of medicine, engineering, and art. Best of all, it lets me get to know amazing people and be part of their life.

Each year I complete many hours of continuing education, to update my skills and knowledge. My patients deserve the best treatment options available, and I am resolved to deliver just that. I want to stay on the leading edge of the profession, especially since everything changes so fast. New imaging, technology, materials, and processes can all improve the care I deliver.

I attend the quarterly meetings of the Illinois Society of Orthodontists, as well as the annual session for the American Association of Orthodontists and other continuing education meetings and courses throughout the year.This enables me to learn from the leaders in the field.

I grew up in Hinsdale, IL and have called Naperville home since 1993. My wife Laura and I were married in 1987. I have three adult children: Alyssa is a high school science teacher in a local district, Robbie is working full time after completing his degree at Purdue and Emily is a Junior High School teacher in a district in the northwest suburbs. We also have a Golden Retriever, Maya.

Kelley loves spending her day talking with people and learning about their lives. She enjoys the diversity of our patients and learning from each of them. She joined our team in 2007 and loves how everyone works together to make sure patients are smiling throughout their visits. Kelley loves her husband, her baby girl, and playing video games. Shes also addicted to Monster, Chapstick, and The Walking Dead.

Maggie is one of our dental assistants who also works at our front desk when needed. She loves interacting with our patients and families and is glad to be part of creating amazing smiles. Having joined our team in 2003, Maggie is thankful for the friendships shes made. Maggies married and has two sons. The family also has three dogs and chickens that lay eggs! During her time off, Maggie enjoys the outdoors, especially when its warm enough to hike, camp, and kayak.

Paiges goal is to make smiles as perfect as they can possibly be. She loves watching patients new smiles develop, and seeing their personalities bloom during the course of treatment. Paige finds it very rewarding to make positive change in someones life. She goes out of her way to help patients have a great experience in our office and leave happy! Paige spends her free time with husband and their cat. She loves nature and the outdoors, especially boating in the summer!

SamanthaLee joined us in 2014 and loves getting to work with and meet lots of new people. She enjoys seeing the change in each patients smile, attitude, and confidence as the smile develops. Outside the office, SamanthaLee loves spending time with her husband, three sons, and her large extended family! She enjoys cooking, baking, and doing crafts with her sons. Shes also a major fan of reality TV.

Betty earned a Bachelors degree in biology and has been a Certified Dental Assistant for more than 30 years. Joining our team in 2004, she tends to a variety of things in the office, from assisting Dr. Girgis with patients, to taking records and ordering supplies. Her favorite thing is seeing patients smiles at the end of treatment!

Our warm and welcoming front desk staff members are here to help! Theyll greet you by name, check you in, and update your information. They also accept payments, will schedule your future visits, and answer questions about finances, insurance, treatment, and anything else.

Youll hear their friendly voices when you call the office, too. Like the rest of our team, theyre all about customer service: They want you to look forward to your visits and will look forward to seeing your smiling faces coming through the door!

Amy is our office manager and works at our front desk, where she makes sure were ready for each day! A part of our team since 2001, she treasures the friendships shes made with her coworkers, our patients, and their families alike. Amy and her husband Eric, as well as their two Great Danes, live in Bartlett. When theyre not working, the family spends as much time as they can at their cottage in Northern Wisconsin. She and Eric love being aunt and uncle to their nieces and nephews as well.

Renee came to us in 1998, having started in the dental field in 1977. She enjoys talking with and building relationships with our patients and families. Renee lives in Lisle with her son and a dog, Zita. Renee enjoys decorating and entertaining friends and family in her home. She is also active with her church and loves to volunteer.

Claudine is our records coordinator, so she works with all our new patients to get them ready for treatment. She is a Certified Dental Assistant with more than 25 years of experience in providing exceptional patient care. She enjoys working with patients and seeing their treatment plan unfold from start to finish. Claudine has been married for 21 years to her wonderful husband, and has three great sons and two sweet Labrador retrievers. Her life is very full with family, gardening, swimming, and painting.

Kathy has been part of our team since 1995. As our treatment coordinator, she assists with all new patient exams. Kathy enjoys helping each patient and family feel comfortable, and loves introducing people to orthodontic care. She reviews treatment plans, explains options, and makes sure every patient has a clear understanding of what treatment will involve. When shes not working, Kathy enjoys time with her wonderful husband of more than 42 years, along with her two adult sons and daughter-in-law. She loves to walk, quilt, and ride motorcycles with her husband.

Stacy is our onsite lab technician. She joined the dental field in 1999 and became an integral part of our team in 2003. Working closely with Dr. Girgis, she makes all the appliances for our patients. These include custom retainers, palatal expanders, mouthguards, and bleaching trays. She loves how each patient has different needs, because that keeps her days filled with new challenges. When shes not at work, Stacy is usually spending time with her husband Matt, and their three children: Ashley, JJ, and Will. The family also has three dogs, a bird, and several chickens. Stacys hobbies include archery, hunting, hiking, camping, and swimming.

Dr. Robert Girgis and our orthodontic teamwork hard to treat our patients the same way we would like to be treated: with respect, professionalism, and sensitivity toward our needs. We understand the expectations of the patients and families we serve, and we do everything we can to make sure each patient has an exceptional experience at our practice.
