My father practiced dentistry in Charlotte for 40 years before me, so I had some big shoes to fill. He taught me all he knew before he retired, and I build on that strong foundation every day. I love practicing in my hometown and taking care of so many incredible patients and their families.
Being a dentist is not just what I do, its who I am, what I was made for. I am drawn to how the art and science of dentistry can significantly improve quality of life. Our dental office uses the latest state-of-the-art equipment and cutting edge technology and we uphold the strictest sterilization techniques. We know that many people may feel anxious about coming to the dentist, so it is our goal to make your visit with us as pain and anxiety free as possible. We view it as our mission to educate our patients about all of their oral health care options and to help guide them to choose a treatment plan that is most suitable and appropriate for their needs.
We are happy to maximize your insurance benefits and file with your insurance company. Our patients pay their copayment at the time of service and we file your insurance that day for quick reimbersement. We accept and file with most dental plans including most PPOs. Most patients do not realize that unlike Health Care companies who reduces coverage out of network, dental reimbersemt is usually very consistent in or out of network. We work hard to keep our fees competetive so we find that our reimbersemtn rates are the same as in network providers. This is great news as you really can go to a dentist you love, instead of a name on a list! There are a few PPOs (Preferred Provider Organizations) and DMOs (Dental Management Plans) that only work with a small group of dentists.. Please make sure you check your policy for full benefits information. Very few, but some carriers (mostly DMOs) do not provide any benefit when you are Out of Network.

Excellent service, quick turnaround for appointments, and very friendly staff. I came in after many challenges with Invisalign at a different provider, and Dr Dixon has been very helpful in getting me back on the right track. Additionally, when I had new retainers and a night guard ordered, the turnaround time was much faster than I expected. Everyone is quite helpful in answering my questions. Well done! Only recommendation would be sending the new patient intake form in advance for patients to fill in payment / profile details with AutoFill on their own devices. That didn't seem like an option for me.
