Dr. Brandys received a Bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. He completed his dental training at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1989. Upon completion of dental school Dr. Brandys did an Advanced General Dentistry Residency with the U.S. Air Force in Tucson, AZ. After 9 years as an Air Force dentist, ( the first five years as a general dentist) he was subsequently selected for specialty training in Endodontics. This training was completed at Indiana University in 1996 and culminated in earning a Masters of Science in dentistry. From 1996-1998 Dr. Brandys was Chief of Endodontic Services at Andrews Air Force Base (home of Air Force One) He served as the Regional Air Force Consultant in Endodontics for the Northeast United States. Our endodontic practice in Glen Ellyn, IL was established in 1999.
Dr. Brandys is an active member of: American Association of Endodontists, Illinois Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association Chicago Dental Society, West Suburban Dental Association, Wheaton Dental Society, Glen Ellyn Dental Study Group. He has lectured on endodontics since 1996 both locally and across the United States.
