My name is Bob Burns, (Robert E. Burns, D.D.S.). I grew up here in Knox County, and am a 1980 graduate of Mt. Vernon Senior High. My parents, both retired educators, still live in Gambier, in the house where I grew up. I received my bachelors degree from Miami University of Ohio, and graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1988.
My wife Lynn and I recently celebrated our 25th anniversary. Lynn is an intervention specialist and a licensed teacher. Our children are Katie, David and Molly. Katie graduated from Fredericktown High School in 2010 and is a junior at Miami University. David graduated from Fredericktown High School in 2012 and is a freshman at Miami University. He recently earned his Eagle Scout designation. Molly is a freshman at Fredericktown High School, and plays trumpet for the band, and also runs track and cross-country.
I enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including, camping, fishing, scuba diving and bicycling. I also enjoy helping out with our local Boy Scout Troop 342. Our family attends Green Valley United Methodist Church, which is a wonderful place to worship.

D.D.S Family Dentistry is hands down THE BEST Dentistry that I've ever went to. I've always truly hated going to a Dentist as well as my wife and we've both found the most caring staff at this family-friendly community dentist. From the second you walk in to the receptionist, dental assistant, and Dr Burns all three of them are the sweetest of individuals who truly care about the importance of your dental health and seeing that you find the means to getting it done. They do a great job at calming your anxieties, assuring you of the procedures, and keeping you in safe and comfortable hands as well as minimizing any type of pain and discomfort during and after procedures. Dr. Burns and his staff gave me my smile back after years of Dental problems and I couldn't be more satisfied with the work that him and his team has done. The Highest of Recommendations!

I recently needed to have a root canal done and contacted Burns Family Dentistry in Fredericktown Ohio. Here I found a friendly professional staff but what impressed me most was the level of skill and experience they all have and the care which they provide. I highly recommend this dental office!
