My teeth are in very bad shape. Several dentists have told me that my teeth must be taken out and replaced with dentures. I dont want dentures that come out. Is there any way to get teeth that dont come in and out?

Sally, it sounds like you will need to consider having permanent teeth attached using dental implants. We call this All-On-4. In most cases we can remove the bad teeth and replace them with new teeth. The new teeth will be fixed in place with dental implants and are not removable like a typical denture.

I'm posting this review, based on my interaction with Dr. Devoll's staff, not on Dr. Devoll. I had several visits with Dr. Devoll about one and half years ago, or more. I was very impressed with his knowledge & people skills and experience. It was a truly positive experience however I have have (as of today) a very negative experience to relate, (not for Dr. Devoll)but for the careless, haphazard, and even rude manner in which I was treated. I broke my #13 tooth a little over 2 weeks ago. I have visited three dentists since I broke my tooth and wasn't very satisfied with them for various reasons. I needed an implant and thought back on my visit with Dr. Devoll. I tried to call a make an appointment him but found out he was out for one week. My first call wasn't satisfactory as I was told (in a rather curt manner) that he was booked up and backed up. No offer was made to me. I decided to phone the office again and was treated with some encouragement. After the office found out I was a previous patient they said they could perhaps set up an appointment for me when they had a cancellation. I sent them the treatment plans from the other dentists and two days ago I sent them x-rays from my first Dental visit. I dealt a lot with Mary, who was nice and helpful. As of yesterday I was told that Dr. Devoll was going to review everything I sent and maybe come up with some ideas or a solution. The office workers at his practice weren't good at returning calls but I kept calling and talking to them asking for an appointment if they had a cancellation. I must have talked to at least 3 -4 people, one of which was Ginger. Today I decided to call the office and left a message for Mary to return my call. She did but unfortunately told me she didn't have good news. I was told the the office manager had gotten involved and stated (1) I would have to call back and make a regular appointment (which I assume meant they were not looking for a cancellation and not willing help me with an appointment. Also I had expressed that Dr. Devoll try to give me a reasonable rate, hopefully one which I could afford. Before on my first appointment there he made me a special rate. This time I was told that no price nor price range would be discussed until I came in and let them evaluate me. Actually I was quite surprised about how curt and rude the office manager's instructions. So I told the office that I would go somewhere else because I thought I was being treated rudely. It is true I was treated rudely in several instances, once in particular I was told if I was an established patient that I might stand a better change of getting an appointment. Then I told the person that I was a former patient and suddenly her attitude improved. I blame none of this on Dr. Devoll, only on some of the staff people and the office manager. I'm not sure who the other people were that I spoke to this past week. Anyway, the manner in which I was treated was awful and I have no intention of returning there due to their bad attitude.

Dr. Devoll takes the time necessary to complete a procedure even if it takes longer than expected. He remains calm even when patients have to wait way past their appointment time. I would recommend him to all my families and friends.
