Dr. Robert Cross received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. He then completed a three year Periodontics residency at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Cross was very active in teaching undergraduate dental students in both implant and prosthetic dentistry. In September 2006, Dr. Cross earned his Board Certification by the American Board of Periodontology and he is an active Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology. He was welcomed to the Medical Staff of Westchester Medical Center in 2015.
Committed to the field of dentistry, Dr. Cross is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the Ninth District Dental Society and the Northern Westchester Dental Study Group. He was privileged to serve as an executive board member of the Peekskill-Yorktown Dental Study Group for four years. His practice philosophy is simple-to recommend the most current, least invasive treatment to get the healthiest result for his patient in a caring, comfortable and relaxed environment. Dr. Cross has been voted by his peers for inclusion in Westchester Magazines Top Dentist 2009 through 2021.
A New York native, Dr. Cross resides in Putnam County with his wife and four children. Dr. Cross is actively involved in his community . In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and activities cultivating his love of nature and the great outdoors.
Annamaria ensures the office runs smoothly, coordinates the continuing education lectures and oversees all marketing efforts for the practice. She enjoys continuing learning about efficient practice management and brings a positive attitude along with her years of experience in the practice.
She is a dog-lover and enjoys spending time with her friends and family outdoors at the beach and enjoying water activities. A healthy lifestyle is paramount to her and she is continually learning about naturopathic methods to support it.
Silvia handles initial scheduling and is very knowledgeable about insurance plans and how to maximize your benefits. Silvia coordinates and manages all of Dr. Crosss implant patients with their referring dentist, and will follow the patients through their implant experience.
Toni is proponent of oral systemic health and holistic oral hygiene. As a dental hygienist, Toni goes beyond providing cleanings by educating patients about how to improve their daily oral hygiene routines and lifelong oral health.
Joy enjoys assisting Dr. Cross in cutting edge techniques that he has learned in his various continuing education. She also loves getting to know every patient, and has a gift of making them feel comfortable during their treatment.

I love this office soooo much. I had to have multiple procedures done by Dr. Cross, and he was phenomenal on all of them. His entire staff is lovely, especially his assistant, and his hygienist who does the cleanings is fantastic as well!! I very highly recommend this office.

Went to Mr Cross a few years ago....1st visit was great....very friendly and did some work which had to be completed in stages....had to wait a few years for the next visit....the 2nd visit, he acted like I was wasting his time and barely helped with planning the work or payment options.....just went to a different DDS who was great with explanation of work and what to expect.....ALSO...my new DDS did show me on the x-rays that Mr Cross didn't do the work he performed the right way and now I have collapsed sinuses.....I don't recommend him anymore

Excellent first experience! Dr. Cross is friendly, compassionate and never made me feel rushed during the exam. He listened to my history, noted my concerns, answered every question as best as he could and offered long-term solutions to my specific condition. His staff is friendly and helpful and I am not anxious about future appointments or treatments.

Dr. Cross capably removed tooth #2 for Joan Ehmann with minimal discomfort. He kindly called to check on her last night. She looks forward to seeing him again next month during her regular cleaning session. She highly recommends him.

Dr. Cross did a great job with my gum surgery. Everyone in the office is very friendly and competent. He explained everything in detail before the surgery which I appreciated.

Honestly? I was super stressed about the procedure - an implant on a back tooth near my sinus. The process was involved and I was really worried. Dr. Cross did a fantastic job explaining the procedure to me, including the complications. I went under sedation, and came out fine. Today, I barely feel any pain, only tenderness. Thinking about sending the office flowers.

Dr. Cross was very thorough and seems like a genuine guy. He chatted with me casually, gave me a thorough exam, chatted a bit more, then gave me a detailed report of findings. He explained my x-rays, showed me illustrations of what is going, told me what he suggested and showed me videos of the procedures. He was straight forward, realistic and not pushy at all. Highly recommend, wish all doctors were like this.

This is the second time Dr. Cross has performed surgery to remove wisdom teeth on one of my sons. Each time everyone has been kind and professional. Both my sons had quick recovery times, minimal swelling and pain.
