Tammy was born and raised in Indiana where she met her husband Jim in 2005. They relocated to the Tampa Bay area a year later and have been enjoying it ever since. All of Tammy and Jims children have 4 legs. Spanky and Buddy, who are both adorable pugs, have three feline siblings, Munchie, Lex, and Tiger. In her spare time Tammy enjoys boating, fishing, snorkeling, and making the handmade soap that you can find in our office. She started in the dental industry in 1986 and has enjoyed working with Dr. Yu since 2006.

Born in Seoul, South Korea, Dr. Yu moved with his family to Saudi Arabia at the age of seven. The Yu family later migrated to the United States, where they settled and formed roots in Forest Hills, New York. Following high school, Dr. Yu enrolled in The State University of New York to pursue his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He attended Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
Dr. Yus fascination with dentistry and his patients well-being persuaded him to seek more knowledge. This leads him to attain his post-graduate training in Periodontology at The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental medicine. After serving a three-year residency, Dr. Yu relocated back to Florida, where he established his practice that you know today as Tampa Bay Dental Implants and Periodontics.
In addition to being a member of the Florida Dental Association and the Pinellas County Dental Association, he is also a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Yu currently resides in the Tampa area with his wife, Woomee, and children Christian and Sofia. He enjoys staying busy with family activities and can often be found taking action in community projects. Dr. Yu also desires to stay on the cutting edge of modern dentistry while using the most up to date materials and techniques available. He continues to stay ahead of the curve by attending extensive lectures, seminars, and workshops.
Dr. Robert Chuong is an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Specialist in St. Petersburg, FL. Dr. Chuong grew up in NYC attending Columbia University for undergraduate studies and went on to Harvard Dental/Medical School to complete his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training. Dr. Chuong has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery since 1984 and maintains numerous affiliations with the local hospitals.
