Dr. Yacko was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio. He completed his undergraduate studies at Youngstown State University. He then continued his education at Ohio State University College of Dentistry where, in 1988, he received his degree of doctor of dental surgery. In 1990 Dr. Yacko moved to Phoenix, Arizona and has made it his home since. Dr. Yacko has been practicing in Phoenix and surrounding cities for 24 years. In 1995 he purchased his solo dental office in Peoria, AZ and has been practicing there for the past 19 years. Dr. Yacko enjoys a variety of sports mostly as a spectator these days. Photography is his current hobby as Arizona offers many great opportunities for him to explore. Dr. yacko has been married 17 years to his lovely wife, Gina, and the two have been blessed with a great son, Joshua. They round off their family with two goofy Shar-Peis Tuffy and Gazelle. Together they enjoy traveling and sharing the sites and sounds of the world. Although they have to endure Dr. Yackos picture taking at times. Dr. Yacko believes that by treating people fairly and listening to their concerns together they can achieve successful quality care that benefits the patient. Lisa graduated from Phoenix College in 2006 with an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. Lisa has been working as a full-time Dental hygienist at Dr. Robert Yackos dental practice since 2007. Lisa is not only dedicated to excellence in care, but really enjoys forming positive and rewarding relationships with her patients, being empathetic to their individual needs, while educating and motivating them towards an optimum state of oral health. Originally from New York, Lisa moved to beautiful, sunny Phoenix Arizona in 1993. Lisa is married to her wonderful husband. They both adore their son who keeps them both very active. Lisa enjoys spending her time with her family and friends, cooking, reading, and sports.
