Dr. Yacko was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio. He completed his undergraduate studies at Youngstown State University. He then continued his education at Ohio State University College of Dentistry where, in 1988, he received his degree of doctor of dental surgery. In 1990 Dr. Yacko moved to Phoenix, Arizona and has made it his home since. Dr. Yacko has been practicing in Phoenix and surrounding cities for 24 years. In 1995 he purchased his solo dental office in Peoria, AZ and has been practicing there for the past 19 years. Dr. Yacko enjoys a variety of sports mostly as a spectator these days. Photography is his current hobby as Arizona offers many great opportunities for him to explore. Dr. yacko has been married 17 years to his lovely wife, Gina, and the two have been blessed with a great son, Joshua. They round off their family with two goofy Shar-Peis Tuffy and Gazelle. Together they enjoy traveling and sharing the sites and sounds of the world. Although they have to endure Dr. Yackos picture taking at times. Dr. Yacko believes that by treating people fairly and listening to their concerns together they can achieve successful quality care that benefits the patient. Lisa graduated from Phoenix College in 2006 with an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. Lisa has been working as a full-time Dental hygienist at Dr. Robert Yackos dental practice since 2007. Lisa is not only dedicated to excellence in care, but really enjoys forming positive and rewarding relationships with her patients, being empathetic to their individual needs, while educating and motivating them towards an optimum state of oral health. Originally from New York, Lisa moved to beautiful, sunny Phoenix Arizona in 1993. Lisa is married to her wonderful husband. They both adore their son who keeps them both very active. Lisa enjoys spending her time with her family and friends, cooking, reading, and sports.

OMG I love this office!! From front desk to dentist. Best experience ive ever had at a dental office. Georgia was the sweetest and tried everything to help me relax and made sure I was comfortable. DrYacko was the most nicest dentist ive ever met in my life. He made me feel very comfortable and was as kind as can be. I went in first time for toothache and this office took care of me. Changing my dentist office to see DrYacko will not go anywhere else after this amazing experience. 100% recommend this office.

I am very happy to say I have finally found MY dentist! I had a great first appointment last week. Lisa is the best dental hygienist I've ever had. I have conditions that make even routine X-rays and cleanings difficult and painful for me, and Lisa went well out of her way to make the experience more comfortable. I'm delighted with this office.

When I got the local anesthetic shot I didn't even feel a thing! Dr. Tacky is the best dentist I have ever had. His crew is amazing too, such amazing service everybody is so nice and they spark great conversations overall I would definitely come back here again and recommend it for anybody.

My appointment was cancelled after they "called" and left a message on the WRONG phone # (confirmed by their staff that the # was incorrect). They refused to accommodate my appointment even after I showed up at my scheduled appointment time. No reason why my appointment was canceled either. Manager said she would call me and never received a call. Just horrible customer service. Please reconsider this office and go somewhere else who will not cancel your appointment and not inform you before you drive 35 minutes.

We've been going to Dr. Yacko for over a decade. Everyone in his office is extremely respectful and caring. They truly care about their patients. They send out plenty of reminders for upcoming appointments. I would 100% recommend Dr. Yacko and his office.

Just let me say up until today i was terrified of the dentist, then i went to Dr. Robert B Yacko and i had the most relaxing experience all the staff was very nice,helpful and professional no matter where i am in the world i will only go to yackodentistry it was very affordable as well as plesant before i knew it my tooth was out thank you so much to everyone at yackodentistry. Called them at approximately 745 am with questions about how much an extraction would cost. They said they would call me back in 20 minutes .At 415 in the evening that same day I called them back, not having received a call from them, and they quoted me a price higher than anyone else I had spoken to that morning .Sorry Dr Yacko, your front office person cost you a cash pauipa patient.
