'Dr Robert Gentry did an emergency repair on my denture which was not usable. I was on vacation too far to get back home. One phone call, came in next day when opened. He started on the problem and when he finished the denture was better fit, stronger than original and looked great. Dr. Gentry was a perfect gentleman very considerate and his staff was also very considerate and helpful. He was not satisfied until I was satisfied. 'If you need your teeth pulled and or dentures then DDS Robert Gentry is the one you want. I have been to many dentist over the years (I am getting up there little) and I have never had a better experience. I had to have multiple shots and teeth pulled by him and I barely felt it and I had no problems afterwards. I am recommending him to anyone. He is not just a great dentist but he and his staff make you feel comfortable during the complete process. They really care and are there for you if you need immediate assistance also.' - 12/5/2011

Very pleased with Dr. Gentry. I was nervous having that many teeth extracted all at once. But the Doctor was patient and took his time, which made the whole process virtually pain free.

I was sent for a consultation with Dr. Gentry after I broke a crown from a tooth in December. My insurance company would not pay for the work that my dentist recommended, and would only pay for another treatment plan. I went through an entire appeal process fighting my insurance company for months, to try to get them to pay for the treatment that my dentist recommended, But in the end, I was forced to go with an alternate treatment. I went back to Dr. Gentry to begin the treatment plan that my insurance would cover, and after an hour and a half wait in his waiting room, he spent about seven minutes with me, to tell me that he would not touch my mouth until he consulted with my dentist to see what "he wanted to do". Perhaps it could have been worded better. But at the end of the day, it is not up to my dentist on the treatment that I choose as a patient to have done in my mouth. It is up to me, the patient; and what I can afford, what my insurance will cover, and what I decide is best for me. I know that my dentist has the very best in mind for me, but if I can't afford the out-of-pocket for the expenses on what he deems as the very best treatment, then it is what it is. And he can recommend that treatment all day long, but in the end it comes down to what I can afford. I explained this to Dr. Gentry at my original consultation, and thought we had come to an understanding, but apparently not. My biggest reasoning for not recommending this dentist under any circumstances, comes down to his staff. The lady working the front desk is one of the most rudest medical receptionists that I have ever dealt with. Every single time I call, she will interrupt me mid sentence and ask me to hold. She will place me on hold for several minutes, get back on the phone, and the minute I start speaking again, she will place me on hold again. When I ask her a question, she responds in a very condescending way. I worked as a medical receptionist for years in both a physicians office and a dental office. A polite attitude can go along way. My time is valuable as well. They may not care about losing my business, but I'm going to make sure that I let everyone I know, not to utilize their services. The attitudes of Dr. Gentry and his front desk are completely uncalled for.

Recently received my new partial. The fit is great, and very comfortable. It is the first time in three years to have full set of teeth. I am so grateful that he is my dentist.

I have had quite a bit of work done at his office. Always very professional and his staff is very accommodating. Dr. Gentry actually called me one night after previously removing a wisdom tooth to check on me and make sure I was doing okay. He has done a lot of other dental work for me and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs dental work done. Great guy with a great staff and I think the world of him and all his people.

Found Dr. Gentry on the internet. I had dentures that need some repair. Called, they said just come in and he will fix them while you wait.
