Dr. Robert Kurtz was born and raised in Chicago. He attended Von Steuben High School and Niles North High School; attended the University of Illinois and graduated in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree with majors in Biology and Physiology. Went on to the University of Illinois Dental School in 1972 and graduated with honors with a DDS and BSD degrees in 1976. Dr. Kurtz went into private practice and taught at the dental school for 3 years.
Over the years, Dr. Kurtz earned the prestigious Fellowship degree from The American Academy of Dentistry. Along with the degree, Dr. Kurtz has continued to earn approximately 1000 hours of educational and hands courses in the fields of placing implants and restoring them; cosmetic dentistry; minor tooth movement with Invisalign and Clear Correct; Occlusion; Endodontics; and Reconstruction of the Dental Complex; and has performed bone grafting and sinus grafting for future implant placement. He has sought out the top lectures in those fields to add important tools to help his patients regain their dental health.
Dr. Kurtz is a member of the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, the lllinois Dental Society, Seattle Study Club, Chicago Dental Forum, Academy of Osseointegration, past member of the Alpha Omega DentaI Fraternity.
Dr. Kurtz's goal is to provide the highest level of dental care ranging from the most basic to the most advanced cases. He believes in listening to the patient, understanding their concerns of proposed dental treatment and discussing fully, all options for the patient to achieve their optimum dental health.

Dr. Kurtz is a highly skilled dentist for general and cosmetic dentistry. After going to a dentist that was far from a perfectionist and did mediocre work, my teeth are now in pretty bad shape. I'm so impressed with Dr. Kurtz's perfectionism and his extreme attention to detail. Dr. Kurtz will spend time with you explaining what needs to be worked on while showing you your x-ray images. He also listens to your concerns and will do what works best for you both aesthetically and financially. He genuinely cares about his patients. His office staff is very friendly and make every effort to meet your needs and make you comfortable. If you need any kind of dental work and want it fixed right the first time, I highly recommend Dr. Kurtz. You will have a great smile and a mouthful of healthy teeth that will last you a lifetime!

I found a great Dental practice!! I went in for a cleaning and I will definetely be going back!! Friendly and knowledgeable Dentist, and dental hygienist!! Also greeted by friendly staff! Parking was a plus!

Dr. Kurtz and his staff are attentive and professional. I found them to be very responsive when I had a dental emergency. They have appropriate waiting times for getting an appointment, the costs are reasonable, and the doctor seems efficient and capable with his skills. Although not a dentist, I am in the health care field so I know how a medical office should run.

I had a comfortable, easy process with Dr. Kurts office. The front desk lady is very sweet. She helped with the nervous jitters while at the office. Dr. Kurtz was great with explaining my procedure and very personable in conversation. I found that he takes special care of all his patients and works delicately for patients needs. I would recommend Dr. Kurtz to everyone.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kurtz for more than 40 years..I think he is an EXCELLENT dentist.. I have NEVER had a problem of any kind with him.. He takes it one step further by giving you his cel and encouraging to call him if anything unexpected comes up--or he will follow up and call you to make sure you are doing fine.. He'll come in after hours if there's a problem.. What more could you want! HIGHLY recommended..!!
