Dr. Westman did his undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota Duluth. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with distinction with a Bachelor of Science degree. He then attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and received his DDS degree in 1985. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Westman started in private practice in Robbinsdale.In order to stay on top of the constantly advancing field of dentistry and to continue to offer his patients the best that dentistry has to offer, Dr. Westman attends continuing advanced dental education courses.
As a way to give back, Dr. Westman recently started traveling to Honduras where he has provided dental care in a medical/dental clinic as well as in their outlyinglocal communities.Dr. Westman and his wife live in New Hope,have three adult children and four grandchildren. During his free time, Dr. Westman enjoys playing golf, reading, and spending time at his cabin in Northern Minnesota. He is also very involved in his local church.
I believe all people should be respected and valued. My goal is to provide optimal dental services in a timely fashion that fits with each patients needs and circumstances. I also believe that the education we provide our patients is just as vital as the services we provide. The education allows each patient to take an active rolel in their dental care decisions as well as their oral health care regime.I enjoy the relationships that I have built over the years with my patients. I appreciate their trust and confidence in my expertise and judgment regarding their dental care. Helping my patients reach their goals for their oral health and over-all smile is extremely rewarding for me.
Dr. Clinton Been attended the University of Minnesota where he received his Bachelors degree in Biology and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and serves as a panel member for evaluating dental products at 3M. Dr. Been and his wife were married in 2012 and residein Minnetonka, MN, along with their newest addition to the family their son Calvin and theirdog Rambo. In his free time, Dr. Been enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing, exercising, grilling, and volunteering at The School of Engineering and Arts in Golden Valley where he tutors children in Math and Science.
Rayhana: Business Administrator As our Business Administrator. Rayhana performs a wide variety of administrative duties within our office, including assisting patients with their treatment and insurance. She comes to us with an extensive background in practice administration and finance. She enjoys time with family and hosting dinner parties. A new addition to our team, Rayhana looks forward to getting to know our patients and their families.
Debbie: Patient Coordinator As our patient coordinator, Debbie greets and checks in patients, answers the phones, and updates patients records. She schedules patient treatments, inputs insurance claims, and assists in financial arrangements. Debbie attended Mankato State University, is proficient in Dentrix, and is CPR Certified.
Christy enjoys the interaction she has with each patient. She strives to be very comforting, compassionate, and understanding so patients are able to feel relaxed and well cared for during procedures.

Dr Westman and Been are caring and knowledgeable dentists that are competent, gentle and kind. The hygienists are all very thorough and great to work with giving you that just left the dentist clean feeling. All of the staff are very friendly and do a great job at making you feel comfortable and welcome. I have been going to this office for over 40 years now and have always been well cared for.

I would highly recommend. I was moving out of state and just before I left I had a crown fall off. They got me right in and took care of me. I wish I would have discovered them when I first moved to Robbinsdale.

Everyone at Robbinsdale Dental are amazing. Carol's been doing my cleanings and check ups for many years and has always done great work on my teeth! It's always fun to catch up with her with what is happening in both of our lives!

I've been going to Robbinsdale dental since I was a child. When my insurance provider changes and I have to find a different in-network provider, I come running back as soon as I can. Having that long standing connection with a hygienist and dentist is invaluable. They have a very clean office and all the staff has been kind. As a small dental practice, they do an incredible job keeping up with modern dental technology. Their office staff is very responsive and organized. Their pricing is fair and transparent. When I've had dental emergencies, they have worked together to fit me in and get taken care of. Dr. Been did an amazing job repairing a chipped front tooth for me and hygienists Jennifer and Carole have kept me calm when I've had anxiety about procedures.

This place is simply the best! The minute you walk in, and are greeted by the receptionists, you know you are in a good place! Dr. Bean is SO thorough, gentle and nice! All the steps are taken for you to feel comfortable during your visit!

Have been going to this clinic for about 45 years even though I moved out of the area. Everyone is always professional and friendly and they feel like family. I believe they keep up to date on the latest practices and technology. They consistently teach their patients how to best care for their teeth. I never dread a visit to the dentist but look forward to it.

I had a very pleasant time here. Dr. Been, Jenny and the staff are amazing. They definitely made my fear of visiting a dentist office more positive now. Jenny was really thoughtful when I told her I had a gagged problem, made the xray process super smooth.

Finally called and returned to this office and Dr. Westman. All I can say is that I walked out with plan, a thorough understanding of the situation and clear options for a remedy. Also, thankfully, they are able to help with "step one" before we leave for a trip in March. A relief to have professionalism, caring, and knowledge with a sprinkle of humor! Thank you!
