Hello! I am Dr. Rob McArthur, and I want to welcome you to our Family,Cosmetic and Sedation Dental Practice here in Snow Hill! I received my Bachelor of Science in 1973 from UNC and subsequently, graduated with my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the UNC- School of Dentistry with honors in 1977. I was selected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honorary Society. I received a Certificate in Advanced General Dentistry at the Naval Regional Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA in 1978 where I received extra training in various specialties including IV sedation. I proudly served for 5 years with the US Navy Dental Corps as a LCDR serving aboard the USS Canopus AS-34 and the Dental Center in Charleston, SC until 1982. My wife, Paula and I decided that investing in peoples lives in private practice would best fulfill my passion for serving patients of all ages. I came to Snow Hill, NC in August 1982 and purchased the practice of the late Dr. Jim Curfman. Serving here has enabled me to treat people with compassion and skill in a field that I really love that motivates me!

I have been married to my best friend Paula since 1977 and we live in Snow Hill. Weve had the privilege of being blessed with 2 beautiful daughters, Kristen M. Bartholomew, RDH, and Lori M. Allen, Attorney at Law. I am also a disciple of Jesus Christ and have had the privilege of serving as an Elder and Housechurch Leader at Grace Fellowship Church, in Kinston since 1994. Im an avid learner and I enjoy reading, exercising and watching sports. Over the years, I have been active in civic and local organizations such as the Rotary Club, American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, etc. I am a member of the American Dental Association, NC Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, Tar River Dental Study Club and the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology.

I look forward to meeting and serving you and your family! Ill do my best to care for you and make your experience as exceptional and painless as possible! We welcome my son in law, Dr. Whit Bartholomew, and his wife, Kristen (my daughter), RDH, to our practice as well!

Dr.Whit Bartholomew joined our team in June 2015. He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from NC State in 2004 and is a recent DDS graduate (Class of 2015) of UNC School of Dentistry. 'Dr. Whit' is Dr. Rob 's son-in-law and is married to his oldest daughter, Kristen, who also joined our team in June 2015. Dr. Whit is very excited to join the team and serve the Snow Hill and surrounding communities. He is an avid outdoor sportsman and a big time college and professional sports fan. Dr. Whit is a member of the American Dental Association, NC Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and Tar River Dental Study Club.

Hello! We work with Dr. Rob and Dr. Whit to provide you with the best possible dental care by explaining procedures, comforting you, giving you follow-up instructions following dental care and by assisting Dr. Rob and Dr. Whit with the dental procedures performed. We have undergone formal training and also maintain additional training during each year to stay current with procedures. We are available to assist you in any way possible to make your visit exceptional!

Hello! We welcome you and often begin your treatment by serving you in cleaning your teeth with a dental prophylaxis and caring for your mouth! WE want to help you brighten your existing smile, regain health and vitality to your teeth and gum tissues, and explain any disease issues that you may have. Well take digital xrays to help Dr. Rob and Dr. Whit in making diagnoses of decay and periodontal problems that you may have as well. Our xrays are the least amount of radiation used in all of the health care professionso feel safe! In addition, we are diligent about our sterilization procedures for all instruments used! We want to make your visit exceptional too!
