Dr. Parulis was my third opinion and he diagnosed my osteomyelitis immediately. He operated the same day trying to clean the infection from the jaw bone. Unfortunately, the infection had spread too far, later requiring the removal of my lower right jaw. After Carilion surgeons built a new jaw from my backbone, Dr. P was able to put in posts so that a bridge of teeth could be made. Thanks to him and his outstanding staff for their kindness and compassion. My life is back to normal.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons have completed rigorous, hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training residencies after graduating from dental school. This highly specialized additional training includes experience in emergency medicine, general surgery, and anesthesiology, in addition to years of surgical experience dedicated to the hard and soft tissues of the face, mouth, and jaws.
In addition to years of experience, the team has received further trainingin assisting our oral surgeons during complex surgical techniques and general anesthesia, to include bone grafting and dental implant procedures. In addition, all clinical staff members undergo advanced life support certifications.
Our courteous receptionists can assist you in handling all arrangements for your upcoming office visit. We have on staff a certified dental practice manager with specialized training in insurance reimbursement and financial assistance. If I could give zero stars I would! This place cares nothing about their patients. They all about getting their money. Receptionist know absolutely nothing and always saying they need deposit for this, this and this.DO NOT GO HERE! IF YOU'RE NOT RICH they don't care!

Super friendly staff here. I had to get four teeth removed yesterday, and even though I was having a ton of anxiety, the doctor and assistant were super calming and reassuring. The procedure was quick, and the aftercare instructions were explained fully. The kindness and hospitality are extremely appreciated.

Do you like to feel like royalty? Do you want to be in good hands? Do you want to feel taken care of from the second you walk in the door? Well this is the place to go. Shout out to Nurse Sandy and Dr. Reddout for great treatment and being PERFECT at their jobs. They are both amazing people. This also includes front desk staff (didn't get their names, but they are still very nice and helpful).

Fantastic experience! Got my 2 bottom wisdom teeth removed today and was so nervous about getting IV Sedation. From the moment I got there the nurses were really sweet and informative and talked me through each step. The procedure for me was over in 5 seconds because of the sedation but in reality I was out of there in 2 hours. Highly recommend!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I had 2 implants done a little over a year ago. 1 fell out in March 2022 and I have another that is now hanging out of my mouth. My insurance did not cover because it was cosmetic, so I paid over $3,500 out of pocket for this. BUT because my insurance has changed they will not let me come in just for them to unscrew the tooth that is hanging out of my head. It's absolutely ridiculous!

Dr Margolis & the staff were absolutely amazing! I put off having my wisdom teeth removed for 10+years. Finally had the procedure done at this office & it was flawless! If you follow their instructions you will have NO PAIN & no dry socket!! The Dr was so nice , answered all of my questions, & he was even available 24/7 including the weekend after surgery. I absolutely will use this team again in the future for our family.

Dr. Kaine Stokes and the staff at both offices were nothing short of amazing! I had an abscess and ended up having the tooth pulled and an implant placed. From start to finish they made sure I was well cared for and all my questions and concerns were addressed. Would recommend them to anyone!

Veterans beware! I have had an appointment scheduled with Roanoke oral surgery for 3 months and they called 4 days before the appointment to cancel because they say they are having trouble getting paid for other Veterans they have seen. So they have decided to use my health care as a poker chip to resolve their billing issues with the VA.

Im giving this 5 stars so everyone will see this.i would really like to say i actually give roanoke oral surgery less than 1 star for their HORRID practices.they DO NOT tell you if you are in your insurance network by going to them.then they will hit you with a ridiculous bill that your insurance will not cover.They will also SELL YOUR INFO TO A SKETCHY LAW FIRM FOR PAYMENT.had they been HONEST with my husband in the beginning and told him that they DO NOT ACCEPT UNITED HEALTHCARE i would have happiky gone somewhere in network.but they just want to screw hardworking people out of money.i do not reccommend them choose anywhere but here they are terrible

I am not going to blast the doctors name on here. However, I got my first consultation on my wisdom teeth and the doctor said I needed them taken out. I didn't really have the best experience as he was not very personable and also quite assertive that I hadn't had the surgery already. I had just gotten dental insurance and I hadn't had it for years due to financial troubles. Things didn't sit right so I had a second consult with a different doctor and he said the teeth were fine. Time goes by and I now have a regular DDS I go to, he said to absolutely not remove them. This really frustrates me that a clinic will jump to the conclusion of wanting to perform surgery. Time was barely spent with me here at Roanoke Oral Surgery. I feel like it was all about profit. I am so glad I didn't have the surgery as it could have been quite dangerous. Very disappointed in this office and I will never return! :(

I had to have a stabilization plate removed that had become exposed. I was terrified. I even considered canceling the appointment several times. I'm glad I didn't. Dr. Stokes and the nurses were amazing. Kept me informed of the entire process and were just very personable.

Dr. Stokes is incredible. He takes the time to walk you through your options, listens to your wanted outcomes, and gives honest professional advice. Dr. Stokes has a lot of experience and is very personable. The only reason this review isn't getting 5-stars was the time it took to actually get in to the appointment. I called the number when I arrived and was told someone would come out to my car to get me (during covid), but then I waited in my car for more than 30 minutes without hearing from anyone. I finally called again and they said, "we're not ready for you yet, but you can come in and do your paperwork". My 3pm appointment didn't end up starting until almost 4pm.
