At our West Linn dental office, we strive to create an atmosphere of comfort and calm, complete with relaxing music to soothe any nerves. Our friendly staff will put you at ease. We love what we do, and we understand that a trip to the dentist can raise anyone's level of anxiety, particularly if you've had bad experiences in the past. We believe that a big part of our job is to reduce that anxiety - even help you enjoy yourself!
Education is, in Dr. Roane 's words, 'a lifelong pursuit.' Dr. Roane received his doctorate degree from the University of Louisville where he graduated with honors and was appointed to the Dean 's List. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, and the Clackamas County Dental Association. He has always loved learning and teaching what he has learned to his colleagues and patients. His desire for knowledge has compelled him to gain advanced education in cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry and dental surgery, which includes the surgical placement of dental implants and removal of wisdom teeth.
Dr. Roane loves spending time with his wife, Angie, and their four children. Together they love to explore the beauty of Oregon; camping, hiking, biking, and fishing. Every now and then Dr. Roane sneaks in a game of golf.
Although West Linn family dentist Dr. Roane has proven a skilled hand in cosmetics and implants, he loves treating children! When it comes to the dentist, kids need someone willing to take a little extra time and help them have fun (yes, we said fun!) at the dentist. Dr. Roane's goal is to make every visit to the dentist an outstanding experience so that your child will develop the desire and skills to care for their teeth for a lifetime.
Kelly moved to West Linn in 2011 from Las Vegas, where she earned her Dental Hygiene degree from the College of Southern Nevada. Prior to being a dental hygienist, she was an elementary school teacher. Kelly believes in educating people at our West Linn family dentist office about how a healthy mouth can contribute to an overall healthy body.
Crystal, a San Diego native, studied Kinesiology at Humboldt State University before pursuing her passion for dentistry at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. Crystal believes research is the driving force for the future of preventative dentistry. During her time off, she enjoys the thrill of rock climbing, traveling, and being involved in community sponsored events. 'There is never a dull moment in the life of an adventurer.'

I've never felt so at ease and relaxed during a dental appointment. What a wonderful experience from the professionalism at the front desk to the thorough exam from my hygienist and Dr. Roane. Can't wait to bring the whole family.

There aren't enough stars to represent my experience with Dr. Roane and his staff. His attention to detail, friendly chairside manner, and excellent teamwork amongst his staff make for a very positive experience. I also love the fact that I received a new crown in one appointment. Dr Roane practices with proven cutting edge technology that gives me the peace of mind that he has diagnosed and attended to my dental needs.

I had the incredible pleasure of being a new patient at Roane Family Dental in West Linn, yesterday. To say that it was an incredible experience is not saying enough. From the moment you enter their almost new dental office which is tastefully decorated, clean, and efficient you know you have found a good dentist. All the front office staff are pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. The front office staff were on top of every detail; to include future treatments and insurance coverage. Kelly the hygienist that I had was incredibly nice and explained all that she was doing in a very complete manner and answered all of my questions. Kelly did complete x-rays, 3D scan, photographs, periodontic charting, and a cleaning in such an efficient manner that it was incredible to watch. Dr. Roane, was very experienced and knowledge as he detailed future treatment options, again in a pleasant and efficient manner. This office also has all the latest technology that dentistry has to offer. This technology in this office does not detract from the personal experience, but enhances their incredible knowledge to deliver a very high level of dentistry. I have always hated the dentist until visiting Dr. Roane and his hygienists. They are all so welcoming, friendly, and gentle. I always recommend to my friends and family to visit because of how amazing they are! I will never go to another dentist! They make going to the dentist enjoyable!

It had been many years since I last saw the dentist due to several life changes and high anxiety around dental procedures, so when looking for a new office I was searching for a place that put the patient at ease first and foremost. I'm so glad I trusted Roane dental. Everything about this office is what reviews have stated, easy going, happy, caring, kind, understanding, patient, relaxed, knowledgeable .. to name a few. My blood pressure may have been high going into this deep cleaning appointment, but Kelly my hygienist was extremely gentle and put me at ease. I will absolutely request her for future cleanings. Luckily I have few issues and only 2 small fillings needed next time, and I don't feel worried about them now. Dr. Roane is so calm, didn't push any over the top treatments and I left with the bare minimum and a healthy mouth. Very pleased!!

I recently switched over to Dr. Roane's office and I have never had a better experience with dental care! The office is always spotless and the people are kind and welcoming at every visit. Dr Roane is thorough and precise with his work, and my hygienist Crystal is always so cheerful and seems excited to do her work.

I've been pleased with Roane Family Dental and a happy customer for myself and the rest of my family for over 3 years now. Always wonderful care and service. Excellent dental care and some very nice folks! Kelly, my hygienist, is very thorough yet gentle. The front office people are always well-organized and helpful. Dr. Roane knows his stuff. Their new clinic is a beautifully calm space, and they take the utmost care to assure everyone's health and safety,. I highly recommend them!

Dr. Roane and all his staff are the best. They know all the patients, go out of there way to make sure you are comfortable and are extremely professional. They take Covid safety seriously; taking your temperature before sitting down, no patients wait in the same waiting room and hygienists and the the doctors wear PPE's. I highly recommend this office.

WOW! This place is like no other. I haven't seen or interacted with such a friendly, knowledgeable staff in any dental/healthcare setting... ever! Dr. Roane and his entire squad are the most thorough dental team I've ever encountered. Not only did I feel safe and comfortable during my new patient visit, but I was very pleased with the treatment options. I opted for the personal dental plan (via video) and could not believe how simple, clear, and succinct Dr. Roane was - not to mention his very prompt turnaround! As much as I dislike going to any dental office, I'm looking forward to finally getting the treatment that I need. Thank you, Dr. Roane (and team)!
