Dr. Holmes grew up in Roane County and graduated from Roane County High School. He always knew he wanted to come back to be a part of this special community after his dental training. He received his dental degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He purchased his practice from Dr. Scott Denton. Dr. Holmes feels honored to be able to serve the community that has shaped his life. In his free time, he loves spending time with his wife Brenda, son Scott, and the rest of his family, traveling, and doing outdoor activities.
Jessica is a Kingston native and completed her fourth degree by graduating Dental Hygiene School from Roane State Community College in 2015. She also has a Bachelors and Masters degrees in Marketing from Middle Tennessee State University. With 10 years experience in the dental field, Jessica truly has a passion for dentistry and has a heart for every patient she treats. In her free time, she loves traveling, spending time with her husband Heath and their two dogs, skiing, and being on the lake.
Lisa has lived in Harriman most of her life. She has been part of this office for over 16 years. Being a member of this practice for so long has given her the opportunity of meeting great people over time. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband, children and 2 granddaughters.
Marcelle grew up in Harriman. Played in the band under Uncle Willie for seven years. She lived in Germany for three years working as a Red Cross volunteer, where she got her training to become a Dental Assistant. She has worked in the dental field for 37 years. She loves her family and enjoys spending time with them. She is very involved with her church. In her spare time, she loves to play with her little Yorkie, Bella and her kitty, Zoe. Her hobbies are sewing, reading, and walking Bella at the park.
Brenda was born and raised in Honduras. She earned her medical degree in 2015 in her country. She moved to the US in 2018 and joined our team starting up as a dental assistant and then expanding her role in our office and becoming office manager. She loves being able to have a direct contact with patients as a dental assistant and also handling the office management. On her free time, she enjoys spending time with Ray, Scott, and their Schnauzer, Kara, traveling and cooking.
Carol grew up in Kingston. She lived in Houston and Huntsville before returning to the place she always called home. She has two kids, Skyler and Jack. Carol loves being in the mountains and some of her interests include photography, cooking, spending time her family, and being an active member of church.

Everyone here is so nice and so helpful! Carol was wonderful! I had an extraction done, SUPER nervous! But it was so quick and easy and the worst part was the numbing. They made a terrible thing (to me anyway at the moment) a great experience! Thank you to the staff and Dr Holmes! 10/10.

It can be really hard to find a good dentist but when I tell you these people are INCREDIBLE. From the ladies at the front desk that are personable and beyond efficient at what they do to the sweetest hygienist I've ever had that took care of my whole family. Needless to say, we won't be going anywhere else. My Daughters have always been very finnicky when it came to the dentist and usually I would have to sit with them, but not at Roane Dental Associates. Their competent and caring staff really put you at ease here.

This is the best experience I have had at a dental office in over 25 years. Every member of the practice is fantastic; kind, empathetic, concerned about your comfort, and professional. The new office is beautiful and very clean. Highly recommend this dental office.

This office helped me like no other today. I went to a different yesterday and had 2 extractions. In the middle she told me she didn't have enough time and left me with roots in my mouth and in crazy pain. She told me to come back in a week and get the rest out. I left crying so much and hurting bad. I called and Roane Dental got me in today and not only did they take them out, they made me comfortable and did it painlessly. I can not thank them enough for helping me. I will never go to a different dentist again! 10/10 recommended Roane Dental!

I really, really HATE going to dentist. I've had a lot of problems with my teeth and been to a lot of dentist and I think most of the ones I went to only want your money and could care less about you and what you need. Dr. Holmes and his staff are very different. They actually treat you as if you might actually matter! They're quite nice and (other than when he uses needles) almost painless. They are also caring, considerate, and treat you like a person. If they can do the crown in the office, it is great because it fits and you have zero problems. He also does a great job on cavities and root canals. I would and have recommend them to anyone who has had a bad experience with other dentist. So far I think he is one of the best.

Great Dental Practice! I don't feel like I need pain-killers after getting my teeth cleaned. I had a few cavities filled and that went better than other dentists I've been to. Very friendly people, and they worked really well with my insurance provider.

Several years ago, I was driving into Knoxville for a dentist. Then he sold his practice to retire. It wasn't good afterward. We called Roane Dental and were able to get an appointment. My first procedure required a root canal. Cringe city. I'd never had one, but I'd certainly heard the horror stories. Dr Holmes skipped the old school dental classes and went straight into the latest technology. I drove myself home after that first root canal and crown. I didn't actually go straight home. I stopped by and talked for an hour with a couple friends that were deep into a multi-month project. Yes, I was still a bit numb but had zero need of pain meds. I have since had a couple more crowns, and another root canal. Those are in & out in about an hour - with a brand new computer generated, custom machined, matched, permanent replacement installed right then. No waiting 2 weeks for the real one to be shipped in from somewhere else. [Ask and you might get to watch your tooth being milled from the 3D computer model of your mouth.] Getting an appointment could be your only issue. When you're good, you're in demand. And Dr Holms stays busy because he is good.
