Terri has been in dentistry since 1996. In Terris career she worked in General Dentistry, Orthodontics, and taught Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene at a school in Virginia where she moved here from to help pursue her husbands music career. Terri enjoys the outdoors, hiking, fishing, hunting, and spending time with her dog, Harmony. Terris passion is giving quality oral health care and comfort to each of her patients.
Born and raised in Nashville, Leah has been in dentistry since 2012. She is compassionate and dedicated to making her patients feel confident about their smile. When not in the office, Leah likes to travel, attend music concerts, and spend time with her friends and family. She is very proud to be part of an incredible dental team!
Darren is the first smile you will see when entering our practice! He was born and raised in South Florida and has now been in Nashville since September 2017. He has lived in Chicago, Yellowstone National Park, and multiple cities in Florida. In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors, working out, and spending time with friends. Travelling is a passion of his, as hes been to more than half of the US, and much of Canada. He is excited to be a part of our team here at Roach Family Dentistry!
Kristen graduated in 2007 with an Associates Degree in Dental Assisting. As part of the degree program, she performed 256 hours of externship with Dr. Roach. Having been a patient of his for six years, he offered to be her mentor. Kristen has learned so much from Dr. Roach, which makes her love being a dental assistant even more. She enjoys being part of a friendly, fun, family-oriented environment which provides the excellent dental care that all patients deserve.
Belinda is a native of Nashville and has been a Registered Dental Assistant since 1990. Anyone who knows Belinda can attest to the fact that her favorite thing to do is smile! Along with the team, it is Belinda's mission to help patients achieve excellent dental health and a smile they can be confident with.
Born and raised in Nashville, Brielea joined the practice in early 2015. She is a joy to have in the office and loves making our patients smile. When not in the office she enjoys all that Nashville has to offer. She also enjoys hiking, canoeing, fishing, and traveling. As you can see she has a love of the city and the country. She is up for anything!
Christine has lived in Nashville since 2003, originally from Ohio, and graduated from Miami University. In 2006, she became a Registered Dental Assistant. She enjoys getting to know people and providing outstanding patient care.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and delicious food is a must! Thanks to her husband, she is also an avid sports fan. Getting to know people and providing outstanding patient care is what make her excited about coming to work every day.
Kylie is originally from Vietnam and is new to the Nashville area. She already feels like Nashville is her second home! She really enjoys working at Roach Family Dentistry and loves to see her patients smile. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and son!
Annette is originally from New York. You would never guess it by her accent..... She lived in Memphis before moving to Nashville in April 2015. She has been a Registered Dental Assistant for over 20 years. She feels the best thing about dental assisting is making people smile and get their confidence back. She is an amazing cook. Ask her for her candy, lasagna, ravioli, bread, and cheesecake recipes.
Hanna is from the bay area, specifically Fremont, California. She moved to Nashville in 2016 to attend school at Remington College. She is passionate about educating patients on how to achieve great oral health. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to concerts, and exploring Nashville.
Originally from New Jersey, Kathleen attended college in Naples, Florida. She enjoys helping patients achieve their best smile! She enjoys camping, playing with her 3 dogs, and spending time with her 5 grandchildren and her husband, Doug.
Hygienist Kelly is originally from Memphis, TN. She graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (Go Vols!) with a Bachelors in Communication. Immediately after graduating, she earned her second Bachelors in Dental Hygiene and has been practicing ever since. In her spare time, she loves to travel, explore Nashville and all the restaurants it has to offer, as well as attending Preds AND Titans games. She cares for her patients and loves helping them achieve their optimal oral health!
Lauren is a familiar face in our office and has been with the practice since 2013. She graduated from MTSU in 2009 with a degree in Music Business and Management. She has worked in management and customer service for over 15 years, including sales, marketing and promotions. She loves meeting new people and getting to know the patients here at our practice. When she isnt traveling around the world with her husband Blake, she enjoys performing, running, and playing outside with her 2 rescue dogs, Audrey & Opie!
Amanda has worked in medical offices for 17 years. The things she enjoys most about her role is getting to know people and making their experience comfortable. She is a native Nashvillian who loves a good laugh!
Originally from Byron, Georgia, Lorraine began as a patient at our office. She quickly became one of our top referral sources. As we learned more about her, we realized we needed her on our team! She graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2007 with a degree in Marketing. She loves spending time with her husband, Seth and their beautiful girls, and watching Georgia Bulldogs football. Go Dawgs!
Anneli joined our practice in 2016 as a Treatment Coordinator and enjoys helping people succeed in taking better care of themselves. In 2004, she earned a BA in Geology with a minor in Russian. She is almost done with her MBA in Sustainability and spent 10 years working to protect and preserve clean water. In 2010, she moved to Nashville doing flood clean-up and river restoration work. When not scheduling patients for preventive care, she pursues simple joys with her two children like watching the sunset, hiking at Warner Parks, dance-offs in the kitchen, and receiving a second-hand education in Minecraft.
Jackie has been in the dental industry for over 20 years. She spent 15 of those years working as a dental assistant before realizing she loved dentistry enough to go to hygiene school. After several rewarding and challenging years as both a mom and student (she is married with 3 kids!) Jackie graduated with her bachelors from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut in 2012. Jackie genuinely loves learning and engages in continuing education programs. She believes that knowledge takes you to places youve never dreamed of and that it can make you a better person, depending, of course, on what you do with it.
Kellie has been working in dentistry for over 12 years! She graduated from the University of Oklahoma. She still loves to go to Oklahoma to visit her dad who just celebrated his 80th birthday! Her best days are when she is spending time with her 3 sons, her daughter-in-laws and her two grandchildren Levi and Belle. If you have any financial questions, she is here to help answer them!
Ashley has 10+ years working in health care and management. She is happily married to her husband for 13 years. When shes not at work, she is spending time at the ball field where her 10 year old son plays. When shes not at the ball field, shes spending time with her family at home alongside their dog, Sledge. Kila moved to TN from Michigan with her parents back in 1992. She has been a dental assistant since 2003. In her spare time she enjoys camping and traveling. She is always looking forward to her next adventure with her husband, two sons, and fur baby Pheobe.
Carly is from Memphis, TN. She has wanted to be a dental hygienist since childhood! Carly went to UTK and received her Bachelors in Kinesiology, and in 2020, she received her Bachelor's in Dental Hygiene from UT Health Science Center. Carly loves living in Nashville, and her favorite thing about working in dentistry is helping patients to love their smile.Fun facts about Carly: she is getting married in March and she loves her dog, Nellie!
Meet Cole! Originally from Cookeville, Cole studied biology at UT Knoxville and later got his dental assisting license in 2020. When he's not in our office helping patients, he likes to spend his time hiking, being on the water, or snow boarding in Colorado. And of course, hanging with his 2 pit bulls, Gracey and Smokey.
Grishma is originally from India. She lived in Missouri for 13 years and recently moved to Nashville in January 2021. She is currently pursuing dental hygiene while working as a Patient Coordinator here at our practice. Anyone who knows Grishma would describe her as a very bubbly person who loves meeting new people! In her spare time, she loves to bake, spend time with family and friends, travel, and learn about different cultures. She loves being a part of the team at Roach Family Dentistry!

I called in today to move forward with a procedure discussed after having a filling replaced that did not last an entire week. Thanks to Amanda for her ignorance, lack of professionalism and empathy for others, I will gladly take my business elsewhere. Reading is fundamental and being in customer service you should Always start by reading any notes provided before insulting clients or potential clients. It costs nothing to be kind.

Best dental experience I've ever had. After years of bad dental visits creating severe anxiety, I had to face my fears when one of my back teeth chipped and I needed a crown. Dr. Riggs has relieved my anxiety completely and my appointments have always gone smoothly.

I generally do not have fun at dentists as an adult but this place has been probably The Top experience I have had. I was greeted with gifts right at the beginning and Dr Ahmad was the doctor that did my fillings and he was fantastic. Made sure I was ok every few seconds and adjustments I needed he was quick to assist with. Definitely recommend this office to all!

Dr. Cabler and Christine were absolutely fantastic. I went to another dentist and had an absolute nightmare of a time and tried this office based on recommendations alone for their care. Christine not only was gentle and caring, but truly seemed genuine in her care and decisions. Dr. Cabler took his time and did not make me feel like an inconvenience (I have a hard time being numbed). Their efforts and expertise restored my faith in the dentist again after several other scarring places. Only thing I have to note for new patients - CHECK YOUR INSURANCE. Typical offices will tell you if they are in network or out of network. This office does NOT tell you unless you ask.

While visiting Nashville I found myself in need of a dentist at 7pm! I called the office and left a message and to my surprise they called me back at 8pm! Annaleigh made my appointment for the next morning at 9. I arrived at 8:55 and was immediately put in a room. A note and welcome gift was in my chair. Dr. Cabler and Belinda were excellent. They took care of my needs quickly. Best dental experience ever. Highly recommend !!

I have a deep hatred for the dentist, but this office males me feel at ease. They go out of their way for their patients. They will work with you on finances, your schedule and and treat any concerns with urgency. Brielle and Dr. Riggs we're so kind during my visit. I made a huge deal out of something that we all laughed about later. I've never felt like I was being upselled or pressured. Clean office, friendly staff and sincere medical team.

I put off going to the dentist for a very long time because of bad experiences. I looked up Roach Family Dentistry and looked at the reviews and were super satisfied so I gave it a shot. I had to get 15 teeth pulled and an immediate upper denture. Dr. Ahmad did amazing and his dental assistant Kristen was awesome in keeping me relaxed. Kathleen also was great with doing my impressions as well! I love the front desk people too. They really care about you and your well being. I highly recommend them!

I don't normally do reviews but I really wanted to with this place. I did not have dental insurance for awhile and because of a surgery I had, I developed calcium deficiencies which came hand in hand with tooth problems. I took OBSESSIVE care of my teeth, but still had cavities, broken teeth and a receding gum line. I went to one "dentist" that did nothing but shame me and send me home with an antibiotic. My mom found this place on google and I am so thankful she did. I was so nervous and embarrassed and the Dental Assistant Cole was an Angel. He was patient with me, calming, caring and so kind. Most of all, so understanding that my problems weren't from lack of dental hygiene, and made it known to me that everything was okay. I can't thank him enough for how at ease he made me feel. Dr. Riggs was also so caring and concerned. Honest and very gentle too. Overall, I have found my dentist. I would recommend this place to anyone, even one's with fears and anxieties just like mine. Thank you so much Cole and Dr. Riggs. You're how all the dental professionals are supposed to be.

Roach Family Dentistry & Associates define dental excellence. I had a dental emergency late in the evening on a Monday and the RFD support team worked me into their schedule for a 7:00 am appointment Tuesday morning. I arrived anxious and in pain, underwent an emergency tooth extraction and left knowing I had received the highest quality dental care by Dr. Roach and Dr. Riggs. They have outstanding patient comfort options and a team of dental staff that deliver excellence. Shout out to patient coordinator, Darren for welcoming me into the office with a smile and dental assistant, Annette for holding my hand.

I wish I could give this office 10 stars. From the first phone call until after my visit. They treated me like family. Not something I've found in a dentist office at all. The front desk, the assistants and the drs themselves are absolutely amazing! I'm looking forward to seeing them again and ecstatic to finally have a dentist that I enjoy!

The best dentist experience I've ever had! I had an infection and cracked tooth I needed to get pulled and they were able to get me in just a few days after I called. I saw Dr. Ahmad and he was very nice! Kathleen the Dental Assistant was so nice and personable! She made me feel super comfortable. I get very anxious at the dentist but they all made me feel very calm and comfortable. Kim and Darren at the front desk are so nice too! You can tell they really care about their patients. Thank you all!

If you're looking for a Dentistry that cares about their patients, this is it! I went in for my first check up since moving to Nashville and they were kind, efficient, and excellent. Everything from cost to procedures were explained in full detail, and they allowed me to ask questions until I felt I understood. I am so lucky I found Roach Family Dentistry & Associates!!!

Going to the dentist has always sucked, but it's not so bad here! Actually, it's quite nice. The facility is very clean and reception is professional and helpful. Kelly was my dental hygienist, and she was amazing! She continually checked to make sure I was comfortable, explained the process, and was so friendly. She was very professional, efficient, and funny! I left with very clean teeth and relief I found a dentist office that isn't boring. Thank you, Kelly!

Patient comfort and quality work are prioritized here. Hanna is without a doubt the best hygienist and always does a thorough job. She is the reason I have a great experience every visit! Dr. Riggs is very welcoming and professional. He's also a perfectionist so if you need any dental work he's your guy.

Excellent experience at Roach Family Dentistry. I don't love going to the dentist and hadn't been in a while, so I was feeling very nervous. Christine and Darren made me feel safe and comfortable. All of my questions were answered without judgement and in plain terms. Dr. Cabler was kind, patient, and gentle. I thought getting my wisdom teeth out was going to be traumatizing, but it was a piece of cake. I am so grateful I chose Roach Family Dentistry. I highly recommend.
