Born in New York, Dr. Koeltl grew up in Saratoga with his older sister and younger brother. He attended the Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey, where he received his undergraduate degree in Biology, and he earned his D.D.S. degree from New York University.

Dr. Koeltl is dedicated to using the latest advancements in dentistry and keeps up-to-date with the latest technologies. He states that, We try to make all of our patients feel as comfortable as possible, which is why we embrace a patient and family-centered care philosophy.

Prior to launching his cosmetic dental practice in Blackhawk Plaza, Dr. Koeltl completed hundreds of hours of courses in postgraduate dentistry andworked for a large dental practice in Milpitas, California, where he concentrated on keeping his patients healthy and happy.

Dr. Koeltl has over 15 years of experience as a family dentist and has extensive training in treating people of all ages. He completed a mini-residency at UCLA in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea. He also completed courses in the Advanced Concepts Of Cosmetic Dentistry at the Northern California Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry, as well as numerous classes at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.

When Dr. Koeltl is not practicing his passion of cosmetic dentistry, he spends most of his time with his family, his wife, Janine, and daughters, Reganne, Riley and Addison. He enjoys playing golf, coaching basketball and spending time with his family at their cabin in the Sierra mountains.

Aubree Scheduling Coordinator Aubree has worked in the dental field for over 10 years, first graduating from Loma Vista with a dental assisting degree. Aubree worked as a dental assistant for two years, and in that time, she found out that she liked interacting with the patients so much that she transitioned to front office for the remaining eight years and now has joined our team as scheduling coordinator to continue helping patients with all their dental needs. Aubree and her husband have been happily married for more than 20 years and have three beautiful children, two Yorkies and three cats. Aubree and her family are born and raised in the Bay Area and enjoy spending time as a family relaxing by the pool, barbecuing and roasting marshmallows over the firepit.

Darby RDH Darby received her associate degree in dental hygiene from Fox College in Bedford Park, Illinois. Darbys favorite part about being a hygienist is creating relationships with her patients and educating them on preventive care. Darby was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and she is new to the Bay Area and lives with her boyfriend in Danville. In her free time, she loves spending time outside and loves exploring all the Bay Area has to offer.

Jennifer Financial Administrator Jennifer has been a team member for a couple years and loves being a part of RK Dentistry. She enjoys working with patients and team members alike and always strives to do her very best. Jen and her husband have lived in the area for over 20 years and have two children, Maggie and Jo Jo. Jens interests include reading, golf, tennis and spending time with family and friends.

Luci RDA Luci has been an RDA since 2016. She is originally from the East Bay and spends all of her free time with friends and family. She believes that knowledge is power, and she is always happy to make sure our patients have great understanding of their dental options. Cosmetic dentistry is something she is really passionate about, and she enjoys working with our dental family to come up with the best results.

Tabatha RDA Tabatha has been in the dental field since 1989. She loves helping to provide the care patients need to help them reach their dental goals and seeing their smiles. She enjoys spending time with family BBQing, camping, going to the beach or just hanging out. She loves being up in the mountains at the cabin with her boyfriend, riding on his quad through the forest trails and on trips to Fort Bragg.

Erin RDH Erin has worked in the dental field for over 8 years and has recently joined RK Dentistry. She was born and raised in the East Bay. After receiving her degree in Public Health Sciences at UC Irvine, she went back to school and received her BS in Dental Hygiene at Foothill College in 2018. She strives to deepen her passion for being an oral health coach- helping patients to not only achieve oral health, but to also understand the relationship it has to the body as a whole. When she is not in the office, she enjoys exploring new cycling and hiking trails with her fiance and two dogs.

Jane RDH Jane has been a RK Dentistry team member since May 2008. She takes a genuine interest in our patients lives and loves hearing about their families. Her main duties include thorough dental cleanings and helping patients improve their oral health. She is studying to become a myofunctional therapist and teaching patients about airway issues to help our patients sleep and feel better overall. She graduated from Chabot College in 1996 with a degree in dental hygiene. Jane loves spending time with her husband, son and Bob, her dog. Her other hobbies are traveling, camping, hiking and cooking.

Lindsay RDH Lindsay started as a temp at RK Dentistry in January 2020 before becoming a permanent team member. After receiving a degree in Sociology at CSU Long Beach, she went back to school for a BS in Dental Hygiene at Foothill College, as part of their pilot baccalaureate program. Lindsay is very passionate about preventative care and loves working with her patients to find the best solutions to their periodontal needs. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with her fiance and their 3 furry children.

Nina RDH Nina enjoys our helping our patients and taking care of their dental health. She attended UC Davis, where she received her bachelors degree in biology. She received her degree in dental hygiene from Foothill College in 2003 and has enjoyed providing compassionate dental care and making every trip to the dentist a positive experience for all patients. Nina lives in Danville with her husband and two kids, Noah and Mia. She enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, reading and interior decorating.

Stacy RDH Stacy has been with RK Dentistry since 2005 and has worked in the dental field for over 20 years. She was an assistant before becoming a hygienist. Stacy graduated from San Joaquin Valley College in 2003 with a degree in dental hygiene, and she is an active member of CDHA. She loves the fact that she can educate patients on their health and help them create plans to maintain or improve their dental and general health. She also greatly admires Dr. Richard J. Koeltls efforts to remain on the cutting edge of dentistry and the teams efforts to achieve excellence. Stacy is constantly learning new dentistry philosophies to expand her knowledge and skills. She is married with two sons, and her family lives locally. Her other interests include cooking, crafting and volunteering at her sons school.
