Dr. Rasekh earned a Bachelors of Science from University of Massachusetts Amherst, Masters degree from Washington University in St. Louis, and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry (2011). Dr. Rasekh ranked as one of the top students in dental school for clinical and patient care and received several prestigious awards. Since graduating from dental school, Dr. Rasekh has obtained advanced training in Dental implants, Smile Design and Cosmetic Dentistry, Invisalign, Veneers, TMJ / Orofacial Pain and Forensic Dentistry

Dr. Rasekh is a strong advocate for Mininally Invasive dentistry. Using minimally invasive techniques, Dr. Rasekh can enhance your smile utilizing the most advanced technology and products available. Often times, this can be accomplished with no anesthesia and with mininal to no pain or discomfort

Dr. Rasekh is a world traveler and an avid reader. He enjoys meeting people of various cultures and learning foreign languages. When not in practice, Dr. Rasekh enjoys exploring the city with his family and friends

My spare time is spent in church, spending quality time with my grandchildren, trying to teach them Spanish and making my famous Puerto Rican rice. I also love to travel, run or go on a long bike ride.

I have been in dentistry for over 30 years and my objective is to keep my patients smiling and happy all the time while creating professional relationships with them. I am looking forward to many years at Riverwoods Smiles and welcoming you to our beautiful office.

Hi, my name is Carol. I have been a dental assistant since June of 2001. What I enjoy the most about my role at the dental office is getting to interact with the patients while helping them improve their smiles. I am very passionate about dentistry!

When I am not at work, I enjoy spending my time with my family, friends, and the great outdoors. I especially like activities such as swimming, fishing, long walk in the parks and oh, I can never forget the road trips!

This dentist is great, he's very nice and explains everything. He takes his time and does a good job. I've been here many times and always left satisfied, experiencing as little pain as possible or most of the time none at all during treatment. The staff and receptionist are the best. This place will get you right where you need to be. Five stars.

I won't recommend this place as they instinct me to do a refill on a tooth that was initially filled earlier which had no issues. Once it's done I cannot chew from that side it's almost a month. I went back for the issues and I got charged again and since the issue exits they calling again to do refill/xray. It will be a continuous PAY process I believe and its not going resolve Recommendation, if there any no issues/pain do not fall into the trap. Jose Reply to the response- Hi, First of all there wasn't any issue with the tooth initially. You guys want to redo filling on perfect okay tooth. I thought that was okay, you guys want to make some money. When it was done I cannot chew from that side of the mouth. I revisited you and you charged insurance $175 and $80 from me. I am not going to come again and pay each time you study and/or fix. And over the phone you said you want me to come again and take xrays. How much I have to pay again!! I don't think that's it is worth and paying you again and again till you guys study on my mouth. If you already know then it then it an insurance scam. You are saying I didn't come. I did come and you charged me for that visit as mentioned above. And called me over the phone for x-ray. You didn't made any attempts to reach me over the phone or email. Well, even if you contact me, I am not coming and paying to you. Thanks

Great staff & amazing dentist! My family & I have been going to this dentist for about 4 years now & it is always a great experience. Beautiful office, modern equipment & they give goody bags with items to help care & improve your dental health. I'm very happy with Dr Rasekh's service.

I'm so happy to have found this place. The doctor and the staff are very nice, friendly, professional, and made me feel like they really cared about me and not just about my money. The doctor took the time to explain everything he found after the exam and answered all my questions. I needed to have one wisdom tooth removed. I've had several dentists and an oral surgeon in the past telling me that I need to have all my wisdom teeth removed. (Totally not true, only one tooth was causing problems) However, I'm really scared of dentists and I didn't feel like I could trust any of the previous doctors so I never got any wisdom teeth removed. Dr Rasekh is the first doctor that actually made me feel comfortable enough to agree to get my troubled wisdom tooth removed. The procedure was very easy and absolutely painless, I was truly impressed with how the doctor handled it and made me feel less scared. I also liked that he didn't send me off to an oral surgeon to do such a simple tooth extraction but did everything himself. Everything was done in just a few minutes and was totally painless! Payment and insurance were clearly explained to me and I didn't feel like they were trying to sell me something I didn't need. The office was very nice, clean and sanitized, taking Covid concerns very seriously so I felt very safe. I'm looking forward to coming back to this office in the future. (Not something I would normally say about a dentist!) UPDATE: I came back to get a cavity filled and again it was a very good experience. The doctor and staff made sure I felt comfortable and didn't feel any pain. I'm very pleased with the results and how everybody at this office is friendly and professional. I have to admit this has been one of the best dental offices that I have been too. Dr Rasekh and his staff are wonderful. Great customer service. Inlove with the office decoration and cleaniness. Definitely will be back for my 6th month cleaning!
