Dr. Maurice Jenkins was born and raised in Centerville, Utah. He received his undergraduate degree from Utah State University where he graduated magna cum laude. While at Utah State University, he received numerous academic and athletic awards, and was nationally ranked in his favorite athletic event, pole vaulting.
He attended dental school at Creighton University School of Dentistry where he also graduated magna cum laude. Dr. Jenkins then completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. While there, he earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska School of Medicine, completed an internship in general surgery, and served as Chief Resident of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

I was called back as soon as I arrived. Everything was explained thoroughly prior to the procedure. The doctor came in right away. He was very friendly. We visited briefly, and he then conducted a brief but thorough exam, then began the procedure. The whole experience from start to finish was well organized and patient oriented. I highly recommend Dr. Jenkins and his office of professionals.

The entire staff at Dr Jenkins office has been incredible. They had to do surgery on my little 5 year old and they made it go as smooth as possible and treated us all so great. Very upfront and honest and just happy great people.

Great friendly staff. Went in for fractured tooth extraction and implant replacement. Home care directions post procedure/surgery are clear and easy to follow. They give you a simple list of directions for the initial healing period. Anesthesia (sleep) is available but I didn't use it. They are booked a few months in advance. Get your appointment as soon as you know you need to see an oral surgeon.

Everyone at Riverwoods Oral was amazing! The receptionists, nurses and doctor are so nice and helpful. They took exceptional care of my son. The office is really nice. When I was driving home, after my son's appointment, I thought to myself how everyone there must love their jobs. That's how they acted, like they love what they do and love helping people. My family and I are lifelong patients. I would highly recommend going to Riverwoods Oral!

I am so happy with this office. The staff is wonderful and Dr Jenkins was so helpful. My procedure was pain free except for the pinches of the numbing shots. My recovery has been amazing and pain free. I recommend Dr Jenkins and his staff.

Dr. Jenkins and staff were extremely helpful when I fractured my jaw. I was referred by my dentist and they squeezed me into their schedule the same day I contacted them. Dr. Jenkins patiently explained my options and listened carefully while I struggled to speak. Then they performed the work without delay. I couldn't be happier! And having my mouth wired shut for a few weeks isn't nearly as bad as i thought it would be. :)

Always love coming to your office...well almost when it comes to the numbing. Office workers are always cheerful , positive and know what they're doing. I love your printed instructions. It helps so much at home and the little things you include in your packets are so thoughtful. (You might include one frozen ice pack for those who travel far). It was awesome that we didn't have to sit around very long, you had us in and out quickly. We think Dr Jenkins is AWESOME...ALL OF YOU ARE AWESOME!!! YOU ARE A TEAM!!!

Our experience was great! Friendly staff. Dr. Jenkins was so friendly and made sure our daughter had the best possible care. Definitely give them 5 stars and will definitely return when needing wisdom teeth removed in the future.
