I see my mission in this world to make things better than how I found them. As far as, my patients I try to make them better than how they came in. Never ever would do any procedure or any operation I would not see it fit for my own family. My philosophy for patient care is wholesome approach trying to do a comprehensive treatment. Away from the office, Dr. Torkian loves to teach. He teaches at the Dental College of Georgia. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Torkian enjoys good quality food, spending time with family, and reading books. He recently started jogging and doing 5Ks twice per week.
'To make patients feel comfortable. Their smile is a reflection of mine and the dentists work because oral health is essential to our quality of life. A genuine smile comes from the heart, but a healthy smile starts with me.
Family is important for Sabrina who is committed to spending time with her son on the weekends. Her most favorite hobby is sleeping in and cuddling with her fur baby. She also enjoys being outdoors and working on her garden during the spring.

Kendal enjoys spending time with her family and friends on the lake. She also loves going on walks, cuddling with her Chocolate Lab, Charlie, and going shopping. To quote Kendal, 'There is no stress that shopping can 't fix!'
Married for eight years and a mom to the sassiest little girl, Sulina loves relaxing with Netflix and sipping coffee under a fuzzy blanket. Sulina is also a crafter, making vinyl shirts, bows and wreaths.
I understand that for many people going to the dentist can cause anxiety or even a sense of fear. For that reason, I strive to treat all of my patients with the utmost care and compassion so that they can have an enjoyable experience. Rest assured they are in good hands.
Tylyn has a Bachelors in Applied Biological Sciences, and prior to working at Riverwood Dental Care, she worked at a military dental facility. Tylyns goal for the future is to obtain her MBA and go into human resources.
Away from the office, Tylyn loves to play video games (she is a die-hard Call of Duty fan), spend time with her husband (hes in the military, so she cherishes every moment she gets to spend with him when he isnt on duty), and play with her fur baby. He looks like a fox, which makes him so unique. I love him so much.
Tytianna is 24 years old (her horoscope sign is a Taurus) and is the oldest of four siblings (1 brother and 3 sisters). In her free time, she enjoys basketball (her favorite player is Lebron James) and traveling out of town (she tries to go out of town at least once a month).
Outside of dentistry, Katie is a proud Mother of five children. The family loves supporting various local businesses, going swimming at the pool, and doing arts and crafts. In Katies free time, she enjoys cooking and hosting parties.

I have been going to Riverwood Dental for about 2-3 years now and they are great! The staff is very friendly and the building is clean. The rates are also very reasonable even if you don't have insurance.

Wow! I called the office to let them know that I was stuck in traffic. When we arrived, I was welcomed by the warm and friendly staff. We waited for a few minutes. Dr. Torkian exceeded all of my expectations and worked with me and my daughters' dental trauma with empathy and confidence. I like the way the office offers some privacy for patients. We didn't feel rushed and he and his dental assistant took time to answer all of our questions. They were able to address concerns in a professional manner. Great experience in a stressful situation!

Decent treatment, but challenging billing experience. Errors were made in submitting the charges to my insurer so I began to receiving bills for outstanding charges which should have been covered by my insurance. It took multiple engagements with their office to correct the issue, but ultimately it was resolved correctly. Not sure if I would go back, but I appreciated the effort to finally correct the problem.

Dr Murphy has the best beside (or in this case, chair side) manner. My husband and I who are both in the healthcare field, have been going to him since he opened his Evans practice. His staff is always, always pleasant and professional.

Everyone was very professional and Knowledgeable and Dr. Murphy made me feel very comfortable and he was honest with me about my dental needs instead of taking advantage. I love it here and he will be my dentist for the rest of my life now as long as he will have me!! I highly recommend Riverwood Dental Care!

We LOVE Riverwood Dental! My kids love going to the dentist to get their cleanings too. They loathed going to their pediatric dentists office where we use to live. What a major difference in care! Dr. T is absolutely wonderful and caring. He truly wants the best for his patients. The staff is warm and welcoming. We highly recommend!!
