Like his father and grandfather before him, Dr. David Perpall was drawn to helping people through a career in dentistry. Born and raised in the metro Atlanta area, Dr. Perpall attended high school in Norcross before receiving his bachelors degree from UNC-Charlotte. After graduation, Dr. Perpall began a career in dental supply & equipment sales with Atlanta Dental Supply. It was through his experiences observing the many different facets and specialties of dentistry that Dr. Perpall decided he would return to school to obtain his degree in dentistry.
Dr. Perpall earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Georgia Regents University, College of Dental Medicine, now Augusta University, Dental College of Georgia. He continued his education earning a Certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) from Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center, Augusta, GA. This was an optional year of training in more complex dental procedures such as dental implants, surgical extractions, root canal therapy, periodontal surgeries, and medically complex patient care.
Philanthropy has been a big part of Dr. Perpalls life and career, as well. He volunteered his time and services to Help A Child Smile, a mobile dental clinic that treats children gaining thorough pediatric dental experience. He has also been on mission trips to Trinidad and Peru to help those who would otherwise have no access to dental care. Dr. Perpall is an active participant in volunteer organizations such as Dentistry from the Heart, Hope Dental Clinic, Georgia Mission of Mercy (G-MOM), a project of the GDA and Christ Community Health Services Dental Mission Downtown (DMD) Project.

I have been to plenty of dentists in the past but after going to Riverwatch Dental, I will not be going anywhere else. Dr. Perpall is the absolute best dentist. He is so professional and so nice. He also has the sweetest staff. The two young ladies at the front desk are also polite and professional. Such a wonderful place all around. If you are looking for a great dentist give them a call. There's none any better!!!!

After visiting for several visits and having multiple types of procedures done, this team is the best! Everyone makes an effort to make you feel at ease and comfortable. They've given me hope where it was bleak before, and I'm more confident than ever to have them as my dynamic dental experts.

I am absolutely terrified of the dentist and past experiences with them, but the assistant and doctor were so incredibly caring and treated me extremely well. I won't dread going to get dental work done as much.

Riverwatch Dental is the best!!! Dr. Perpall is so professional and friendly. He makes you feel like you are his only patient at that time....never rushing in and out. Abby is also great along with the rest of the staff. Their treatments are state-of-the-art and the office is always super clean. Highly recommend!!!

Dr.David takes very excellent care of his patients and he will sit down and discuss your treatment plan and the cost before he does the treatment. He is the best dentist I ever have been to and he eased my anxiety about going to a dentist. I highly recommend his practice.

I love going to this dental office. Hands down one of the best I've ever been to. Thankful for Dr. Perpall and all his staff. They are all so friendly, personable and just take the time to listen. I am truly grateful I found them. I also want to give a huge shout out to Abby. I just love her. She's one of the best! She's got to be one of the most gentle yet effective people that's cleaned my teeth and she's super personable and just very friendly. Can't thank her and Dr. Perpall enough they get me in and out so fast! If you're looking for awesome place to go....Here's your place!

I have nothing to say about this office except positive words. I have been looking for a good dental office for quite a while and finally found one: Riverwatch Dental. I first stopped by in mid September to check if they accepted my insurance, they did. While I made an appointment, I mentioned to the staff that I may have some kind of gum infection from an old bridge, the front desk immediately informed the doctor. I was seen by dr Perpall at the spot to ensure I've been taken care of. 15 Oct was my 2nd visit, Checked in, sat down and flipped to the 2nd page of a magazine and off to treatment (I don't remember last time I've been to any doctor's office and they were this punctual, on time, and not let the customer wait). Dr Perpall and staff explained every step of the treatment, options for treatment, professional opinion for best course of treatment, and was informed of my share of cost in advance. I walked out today not only with my teeth fixed but also was saved from having a costly procedure. I am a very satisfied customer. Thank you Dr Perpall and the entire staff at Riverwatch Dental.
